Too expensive to produce, and they obviously performed a market analysis that showed people buying PS3s already own a PS2 and thus deemed it unworthy to pursue any further.

Even though I have the 60GB model, I still use the PS2 to play the games if and when I feel like it.

If you want one that badly you'll have to hope someone will part with one over eBay.

Problem is, I have an HDTV and PS2 games don't look too great on it. Backwards compatible PS3s (and people that play PS1 games on the PS3) will notice that the PS3 UPGRADES the quality of said games.

I bought $20 Component cables that work for the PS3 and PS2 and I bought it for my PS2. Looks better than what I had before, but still looks fairly pixelated.

I actually think that SMC underplayed the PS Store. I think it has better games and downloads that the 360 doesn't have, like Fl0wer, Warhawk, and any game in the PixelJunk series.

But the rest was a pretty fair review.
Pretty shweet review. I'd also like to mention that there are PS1 games on the PS Store as well. You can also play those games on your PSP, downloading it from the PS3 of course. Really cool.

Games such as MediEvil and Spyro The Dragon and Metal Gear Solid 1. :)

I only played a bit of both on the original Xbox. And it was pretty bad ass. I never did finish them. I'm not sure about purchasing the 3rd though because it isn't done by Remedy. So we will see. I'll wait for some gameplay.

Ahhh, definitely. I remember looking at Max Payne 3 articles, deeming it as a rumor. People were thinking they weren't even going to make it. Seriously worried me.

Announcing this news makes me REALLY want just a few screen-shots or something! And looking at the new Max Payne (assuming that WAS Max in the Kotaku article) makes me think that he's one of the Lost and the Damned gang members. I HATE limited details in announcements such as this!

Nah, just kidding. I hardly post, so I just wanted to post something interesting. Thanks for the heads-up though...

I'll provide the link to the announcement at the end of this post:

Very exciting news... I hope it has the same dark noir feeling the other games had.

I also REALLY hope Same Lake is writing for the game as well (as he did with the other ones). I remember that his face was used for the face of the first Max Payne. It was perfect. Didn't like how they changed it in the second...

Hmmm, I live in the eastern part of Kansas and the blotch of thunderstorms near me isn't just it. A bit to the west, there's some more and it has wintry-mix on the edge of the storm. Strange guys, really strange... well, just hope I don't get that tornado! Nah, pretty minimal chance but it still has the watch there, so says the Weather Channel.

Awfully strange. I just watched an animated radar and the thunderstorm just popped up out of nowhere. Just developed on it's own.

Thanks for the feedback so far, guys. You guys are keeping me entertained and comforted since I'm a bit freaked right now. "WAAAH U A PUSSY DAWG UNPH" Nah, everyone has a little phobia. Just, this isn't really little for me.

Oh damn, it just thundered LOUDLY just now. Ugh, scared me a lot since I didn't expect it and accidentally shook my hands on the keyboard as I was typing.

Forecasts don't always go as planned. I've chosen not to rely on forecasts as much since it never warned me of thunderstorms tonight.

Yup, just another run-of-the-mill NG user who tries to be funny but fails upon delivery. Nothing to see here.

@bomshaw
Quite scary... and I checked out a Newgrounds thread the other day about stronger Solar storms to be happening in the year 2012 which frightens me too. Too much things in this world going to shit. Sucks that our generation has to inherit this gone to shit Earth.

This ticks me off. Just a few days ago, we had snow. Yesterday, we still had the snow on the ground. Today, it gets to 60 degrees Fahrenheit and now, at 11:41 P.M. as I type this, I'm under a tornado watch and it's 62 degrees here in Kansas. Just a few days ago, it was nearly in the negatives during the night and 20 to 30 degrees during the day.

Very bizarre. Pisses me off, too. It's thundering right now and I just have a phobia against it. Creeps the shit out of me, literally. I love Winter, but I didn't expect this. Again, I live in Kansas, right in the center of the U.S.

It's expected to get back down to 30 degrees tonight and maintain a 30 to 40 degree temperature the rest of the week, unless that changes since Kansas is always unpredictable. Discuss? Thanks for reading this far.

Well, I'm hoping to get a Vizio 32-inch LCD HDTV which runs at about $500. Relatively cheap considering it's an HDTV, but it's still expensive.

Right now, I'm using a 26-inch Philips Magnavox that's about 10 years old and it's hooked up to a 15 year old VCR and I have the game consoles and digital cable all hooked up to it. Yeah, I need an upgrade. Playing games on that TV with little "fuzzies" and small sparks when you're playing is hard... especially if the environment in said game is dark or the graphics are just insane.

Yeah, I have an Xbox 360 hooked up to that shit. I'm lucky it hasn't crapped out on me.

Time Zone - World Destruction. Fast forward 30 seconds if you want to get to the good stuff.

Conor and Jay - Change. Also fast forward probably 25 seconds in... this song was in GTA 3, which is one of my favorite things because of its soundtrack and how many memories it brings back.

Also, I live in Kansas. Yeah, uncommon location for a user on NewGrounds, eh?

Weather around here has been up and down, but I think it's going to stay in the 50s and 40s at night. One day this week, it'll get down to the 30s at night and 60s during the day.

CAN WINTER HURRY THE FUCK UP!?!

Another thing: People think the cold temperatures give you the flu. Nah, it doesn't. Just germs. So, just wear warm stuff so you don't freeze, but you won't get sick unless you're around other sick people or you don't keep your hands washed.
