I vote against doomshock because he doesnt really want to be part of the group, he just wants a part in the collab, and thats not really what we're about. if this were an open thing for random people to just submit collab parts to, we'd have set up a collab thread, but we didn't want that, so we didn't set up a collab thread! :P

I think we should have a policy that says that to participate in SFC collabs (of any kind, including the holiday ones we did like pico day skate collab or snowy winter vacation) you have to have been a member before hand.

that way people can't just join to be in the collab, and none of us look mean as individuals because its actually a policy.

haha, except, I look mean now because I made up the policy, haha

Marcy/Tommy, because your english is so good you probably know what a policy is but incase you dont, its a rule an organization makes that they stick to no matter what.

OH AND NICE TWINTRASH twins, great work! :D I especially liked the part when they guy is doing the same syllable over and over again and then a tongue comes in from the side to show the other voice, great work! :D

love it you two! simon your stuff is really cool and I like the blockiness of the terrain. tommy, that ending is killer, its really nice. and good animation the whole way through. really enjoyable.

here's mine so far.

man, Im really enjoying working on my part, Im trying to do sort of a story as well because a lot of people were complaining about cardboard city having no plot so I'd like to prove to myself that I can, in fact, animate something with a story.

so basically invisiboy wants a free icecream because this icecream shop says free icecream but theres a huge line up and in the shop there's a counting... thing... that shows how many more free cones they can give out and its down to like, 2 or something. so he uses his invisible powers and gets to the front of the line.

it probably sounds random and bad, but hopefully it'll turn out okay :P

whatever, collabs are similar to eachother, don't worry about it! these are all for fun anyways. so seriously, dont limit yourselves to stay away from being like CBC, I dont mind and I dont really think other people do either... :P

actually I think things look a lot better when they're uniformly one sort of texture, it sort of takes away from the texture-ness of it if there are flash colors left right and center.

plus this is the metal collab, we wouldn't want metal taking a back seat to vectors :P

just my opinion. its up to you though Mr Andy, your collab :)

you said that none of the reviews said it was good, and I said that if you were being observational, and using subtext, you'd have noticed that if they didn't flat out say 'it was good', they left a nice score.

but I'm intrigued by the answers to this thread. I liked what you had to say jin, thats a very good point, about content over plot, whatever form the content happens to take.

cardboard city was meant to be peaceful, and relaxing. there was no intended story when we set out. just so you know.
