RWA

woah nice! great method with the hand and everything, you must have put a fair bit of thought into it before actually animating it. its really good.

Marcy

great menu! I like the preloader too, but you should make it so that it doesnt just go in a line, like right now as it loads the circles get more and more full, you should try to make it just have one circle appear after the first all at once, I think it would work better. But its unimportant, the menu looks great!

INDEED IT APPROACHES! I always thought bump was just like, you're bumping the thread to the front, I didnt realize it was actually an acrostic. cool beans.

Krazy-rex, your part wasnt just amazing but I thought it was fairly original, a lot of people just had a smoker standing and then randomly dying (which was great you guys, I liked all of them) but yours had sort of a bugs bunny feel because thats the kind of thing they do in those shows. and to all them haters, he died by a cigarette just as much as any of the other people's characters did. HMMF.

its vary new sig like, I like it. could be a bit bigger though. nice pic. there's also no real "style" about animating skaters that you have to use, the idea (as I see it) is to take whatever pre-existing style you have, and use that in a skateboarding context. but no matter what your style is, its got to be smooth, which is something Jestar knows a lot more about than me, his skate stuff is amazing.

g-force is teh back

yays!

cronic killed his decks

you're a really good skater from what I've seen of the puddle youtube stuff so thats cool. I was at a skateboard camp in the summer and the supervisor/instructor guy said that he goes through a deck each week! He was REALLY good though. we set up a little ramp and he aired over an entire like, six foot box. it was really cool.

some new people

thats actually not bad, but you have to end it, make him go off screen. otherwise it looks incomplete.

whoever said there aren't enough skate animations, there are actually plenty over in the collection, and we're working on more all the time so stay tuned!

Response to: The One Layer Collab Posted December 29th, 2007 in Game Development

wow, twenty six parts! thats so many! there were only like, five or six in the preview and it was already over a minute (I think) so this will be epic!

Ya I'm with nightmare, I've never broken a board skating, and in fact I havent even gone into a rage enough to smash it at all. lol mraw, vensor sounds pretty sweet.
I ride an expedition one deck with krux trucks and expedition one wheels. the trucks are really awesome because they've got a diamond print all over them, so it looks like your trucks are made of diamonds. :)

good to hear G-F-D! too bad about your tablet mraw :(

now I'm going to the pancake house for breakfast. THE PANCAKE HOUSE PEOPLE, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO COME.

lol its so weird how you want your flash page equal like that! anyways, those blue scoring ones dont matter at all because they were sub'd after 9 PM in whatever timezone, so Im pretty sure they get carried on for the next day. :)

I have to say its been great working with all of you guys, seeing your parts shows me what each of you saw in the challenge, and thats really interesting. The three collabs that I've been a part of most recently (black and white six, red and white christmas special, and this) have been the first that I've ever been a part of on the BBS and its been pretty cool, so ya. good luck to marcy with finishing this!

Response to: The Christmas Red And White Collab! Posted December 28th, 2007 in Game Development

wow some of these posers are just SO ANNOYING eh nick?

jakeumms COUGH COUGH COUGH

this turned out nicely, I liked the final presentation and I think using bios as a link to the credits was great because bios are essentially credits, so good idea doing that hook. lol the S on my name was cut off but I dont really mind, kinda funny though :)

I loved the skiing one that popped up three times :)

thanks shirk! it was me, ALL ME! >:)

that stopmotion was really pretty, I favorited it.

That would be pretty long. I think...

I'm a slacker.

nah, nah, dont worry about length, NOTHING more than a minute was what I said. hell, my part is only about ten seconds long. I'll probably make another one though.

cool deck yeahmix. I like it, too bad about the truck, what did you do to it?

Response to: -Skate Flash Club- Posted December 28th, 2007 in Clubs & Crews

lol you and GFD are so funny jestar. :)

K I'll repost the specs!

SPECTACULAR SPECS
600x500

30FPS

the same length of part as you'd make for any SFC collab, its up to you, but preferably nothing more than a minute.

SNOWBOARDING! not skateboarding, because that doesnt work on snow! if you want to do snow skating (which is like skateboarding on snow without the trucks and wheels) then go for it, but no actual skateboarding. :) basically you're not allowed to use wheels. on the bottom of the deck.

good luck guys!

Response to: The Christmas Red And White Collab! Posted December 27th, 2007 in Game Development

kyle has two collabs

woah that got really harshly voted on, GaW. only 3.48? Whatever, I fived it. The way frozensheep cut it together where he'd occasionally add in a word from the song at the same time it was being said was nice, even though its really easy to do. I was also impressed with the length. it was full.

adman creds

Im in there! thanks man! gee seeing my name sure is something. You should add Nick in there though, he's been good with thread support as well.

Nick said it should get sub'd 2nite

well its eight here [winnipeg] so I doubt that fish will do it, but it SURE WOULD BE NICE HINT HINT!

you've all done great stuff so pat yourselves on the back and then make a nice cup of hot chocolate if you're cold, or some tropical beverage if you're not. goodnight :)

lastly, you all have to learn to be skillful like this guy. He's got a bunch of tutorials if you've got a bunch of time on your hands :)

ya!

Uh... When we submit flashes, collabs, I really want to be co-authored so that the submittion can be seen at MY profile. So please co-author the joined people, not "The-SFC" (Unless it's not enough space) Please.

ya, I realized that too. LUCKILY, since the SFC consists of only 10 active members (those listed in the SFC signature) the only time we would have a co-author dilemma would be if every single member decided to join in a collab. this seems unlikely to me at the moment, so I think it'll work out fine. People come before group accounts!

I'm so confused. I havent checked up on you guys in a few days...
I'm fucking lost.
Summarize.

I made it so that we could co-author it on submissions and keep people up to date on the happenings of the SFC, figuring that every time we co-author it, we can update the page and keep people interested in whats going on. also it just looks pretty cool :)

oh wow thats really nice as well. hmm. is there any way you can move the parts of it around and make it a user page header? like move the stuff in the logo around to make it fit into the shape of a header? because that way we'd have a character in each picture which would be good.
