Sorry for the double post, all.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE follow the advice of the good Dr. Worm and use periods and capital letters. And... please use real words. Erutions? Come on, now.

Besides, sulfur actually blocks sunlight. Yeah. That's because it makes up volcanic ash.

Ever heard of the 'Year without a summer?' Back in like, 1814 or something like that? That was because of a massive volcanic eruption, and global temperatures were I think only about 1 to 2 degrees Celsius below average? Volcanoes do many things, my friend. So do forest fires.

You have a point.

But personally, I think that global warming/climate change is a phenoma that simply has not been experienced and recorded multiple times over the course of our existence. Nature has a way of taking an incredibly long time to do things. I do not believe that humans are the one and only cause of climate change, but I do believe that humans are, however minor, contributors to global warming. Other forms of pollution should be the more immediate concern.

*sighs*

Hmmm.

Maybe we need to adopt a rule for the forums: don't act like a jackass. Just an idea. And besides, why was this posted in the politics section, when this has nothing to do with politics? The closest is the notion of 'liberal conspiracy' which has no grounding in fact.

You think that that's good?

You are crazy, you know that? I scored college level in fourth grade, and skipped seventh, so HA!

Besides, reading exams aren't hard - hell, they don't even test how well you can actually read - they 'test' how well you can interpret a passage, not vocab (or at least not a lot).

Good day, and let the topic die for goodness sakes.

Thank you.

Now can we just have Dre-Man and Imperator shut up and let the damn thread die.

Response to: Putting religions in perspective Posted April 12th, 2007 in Politics

This is not politics, and I am getting sick and tired of religious threads in the politics section. I come here to discuss politics, not "Putting Religions in Perspective."

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop putting religious threads in the politics section. Put in general, where it belongs, or ask Tom to make a new section for religion.

We are technically in an UNCONSTITUTIONAL war, because Congress did not DECLARE war.
The military action in Iraq and Afghanistan has been authorized by Congress, therefore, it is perfectly constitutional.

Yay. Some sense.

Response to: Bush soon to be impeached? Posted April 10th, 2007 in Politics

Could we get back to the topic, which is WHETHER OR NOT BUSH WILL BE IMPEACHED SOON.

I think we're moving into 'rave mode' where we just yell and scream at each other until all intelligent discussion has completely disappeared.

Not according to our current laws.

According to the Geneva convention, yes, it is torture.

I agree with the person that said that Memorize is arguing the legal definition of war, but the majority are arguing the conventional definition.

Response to: Bush soon to be impeached? Posted April 9th, 2007 in Politics

You know...

Bush may or may not be impeached; all indications from Congress are that that is NOT in the agenda.

Besides, you remember a year or so ago? When the Bush administration released documents that detailed the secret CIA prisons that were approved by Bush? They were put in place to interrogate prisoners. This is perfectly legal. However, what was not legal was the so called 'water boarding,' where prisoners were made to lie down and had water poured on their face, in order to coerce them into revealing information. THAT is torture, even though the adminstration said it wasn't.

Also, the "Canadian Incident." A CANADIAN citizen was arrested at the U.S./Canadian border for 'looking suspicious.' The fact was: he was returning from a business trip and was on his way home to his wife and children. He was of Syrian descent, but this was all they had to go on. He was sent to a CIA prison for two years, and was then deported to Syria, where he was arrested for being a westerner. He was finally released last year, and has returned to Canada. If not for the Patriot Act, which allowed for such arrests, such an incident would not have happened.

Whether or not Bush will be impeached, I am fairly sure he will be tried for war crimes, whenever his term ends.

By the way, we ARE at war - Congress declared war in 2001, and we INVADED Iraq. 9/11 was not a conspiracy, in my opinion. Besides, there is no evidence to support such reasoning.

And just so you know, Memorize: you don't have to declare war to be at war. You can be at war if someone else has declared war on you. Period.

Response to: Bible Contradicts Itself! Accept it Posted March 5th, 2007 in Politics

Okay. This may seem a little strange, but it's just me.

First off, the bible does contradict itself. However, if anything, this is to be expected, as it was NOT written by a single person, it is a collection of beliefs that was being constantly added onto for about two thousand years. There's bound to be contradictions. For example, in Genesis 2:17 it says that if you eat from the tree of knowledge you will die the same day. What happens? Adam and Eve simply get banished from the garden.

Secondly, there are several different editions of the bible, most recently the King James Edition, which was personally modified for ANGLICAN CHRISTIANITY by Great Britain's King James in the 16th or 17th century. King James had the authority to do so, as he was not only king, but the head of the British church. This is where some have made a good point, religion should be kept seperate from politics, because it biases decisions made by those in charge.

My final point is that this is in the POLITICS section of the BBS. If you want to discuss religion, don't do it here. It's not where it belongs, especially since the beginning point of this thread was that the bible contradicted itself. If you want politics and religion, discuss the seperation of the two.

Response to: Americans Suck! Posted February 13th, 2007 in Politics

Okay. This is a discussion that I see has nothing to do with politics. This is a discussion on the state of the American public, and the person who started this thread makes the very CLEAR assumption that every single American is a fucking asshole. My response to that is, "Thank you very much, you're a fucking retard." Because I don't fucking care what the fuck you say, and if you haven't lived in America and been an American citizen and lived here ALL YOUR FRIGGIN' LIFE then you won't understand the situation in America. It really ticks me off that people from other countries assume that every single goddamn person supports Bush and the war in Iraq. Well I don't, so screw you! And I don't fucking care if the public knows next to nothing, how would you like it if somebody went around insulting your country! I'm sure you've got national pride, no matter what shape the government is in! I don't like Bush, but I damn well like my country.

Response to: zombie hord3 Posted February 13th, 2007 in General

Okay, I don't mean to sound insulting, but this is friggin' ridiculous. ABOUT SEVEN THREADS HAVE BEEN STARTED CONCERNING THIS ISSUE.
And for all the lame morons who can't figure it out, here you go:
STEP ONE: Go to the southeastern garage, get full health, restock ammo, etc.
STEP TWO: Head east.
STEP THREE: Destroy the barracades with the rocket launcher.
STEP FOUR: Take the road that heads straight north.
STEP FIVE: When you hit the barbed wire, just follow the blue arrow to the airport (you may have a little trouble getting under the overhang).
STEP SIX: Watch the end cinematic, and collect your reward.

THERE ARE NO C4 ZOMBIES. PERIOD.
