hah, I turned off automatic updates and that apparently fixed it. Well, at least I don't get those annoying pop-up and my audio works again (one of the problems)

since about wednesday my computer has been acting up. I highly suspect it was a windows update that screwed up. I think it this because when I go to the windows update online it doesn't run and one of the pop-ups appears. Everytime I turn on the computer now I get two pop-ups. This is one:
