Loose referenced this from the image of a badly preserved canine. Half the face had rotted off into some shapeless blob, so I just sort of improvised on that.
Then I gave it a suit, and a tie.
It was one of those days.
WIP
I'm going to possibly tweak the middle eye and make it more grotesque.
Any suggestions or critques on this is most welcome, I'm not sure what to do with the background right now, ho hum.
Some smiledog fanart. A few friends had expressed how my style was fitting for creepypasta related art, so this is me testing the waters as it were.

Thankyou!
And as I hate to just spam my thread with thanks, here's some some more content.
Bit of an experimentation with colour for this one, a few months old but I'm stickler for the shiny.

I'd think if would be awesome if you did your own interpretation of a Grim Fairy tale . I think the result would be Amazing~
Thankyou very much, it would certainly yield some interesting results and I have been thinking about making a series of illustrations (In a traditional media, for a change) so you might see that happen at some point.
Either way, whatever I make will go in the thread. Grimm or otherwise. :)
Shape Challenge off deviantart.
Fun but as you'd expect, challenging.
Well it's been a while, bumping with content.
A quick sketch requested by a friend, this was mostly just me trying to find an excuse to play around with the line-art tool in SAI.
I'm finding that line-arting in SAI is easier for me than photoshop, but all-else is a bit shaky for many of the things I wish to achieve.

I have a few tips/pointers though.
Green: This limb has a different color then the rest of the tree.
Red: You should put great detail in the darker trees here like the one by the stream
Blue: Cats front right paw is very weird shape.
Thankyou for the input, the cat is just a place holder however ha ha. I will certainly address the issues you have brought to my attention however and thankyou for your time and critique!
Thankyou very much indeed folks, your comments and support are much appreciated.

Thankyou very much! I'm constantly trying to develop and improve it. :)
Here's a WIP before I call it a day, the bizarre feline creature is a temporary placeholder for the character within the painting so I don't forget the focal point and their placement within the scene.
Something I've been working on to break out of my comfort zone.
Should of used a perspective grid and it lacks a sun, buuut, glad to have it done to some extent.
Thankyou very much!
I ended up finishing the character reference this evening.
Little headshot of some strange little dryad man thing. Just something to chill out before bed if anything as well as a bit of a play around with colour.
It's been a while.
So here's something i've been working on in my time, it's a bit of a incomplete sketch but it's going to be painted over and hopefully done up rather nicely, soon as I can get back into the swing of digital painting again.

Many thankyous for bringing that to my attention, I thought I had ha ha. Daft ol' me.
Just a sketch knocked out before bed, loosely based off my muntjac skull.
Nice! I'm liking the playful and rounded style you're using here.
And adding a little doodle I did awhile ago of a clown, it was just something to work off some steam before bed and chill out a little after a day of working.
A little bit of a doodle done for something I had planned sometime ago experimenting with Adobe After Effects and such.
The project sort of fell through but here is one of the images that was going to be used for it. Perhaps in the future I will pick it up again.
Thankyou very much folks, your interest in my work is greatly appreciated.
More university work, something a little less darker and more experimental.
Not the most brilliant colour job in the world and critique is more than welcome. The background is bland and somewhat lacklustre, doesn't really match the figure in the colours used (needs to reflect the colours on the fisherman, the oranges, the yellows). The flat nose which makes the fellow seem like a thundercat doesn't help much either.
Drawn from reference, horribly rushed but alas, that was my own fault in poor time management.

Children who played at slaughter/butchering.
I heard a few versions around, the one I was using for the brief included a young daughter witnessing her father or just some general butcher character killing a pig before they all run off to play it themselves.
I believe it was dropped for being too violent, or something to that degree.
Added a greyscale sketch done sometime ago when I was still using Paint Tool Sai as opposed to Photoshop. Done from reference (save for the face and background). In the future I plan to return to this, redo it in colour, make the surroundings and the figure more interesting and general kick it up a notch.

Reckon I might as well start posting stuff here, since I also use the art portal and all that jazz.
