It's simple as this: Atheists have their own standards of morality (like everyone else... cuz nobody has equal moral standards even if they are ruled by the same laws) based on their living environment (again... like everyone else... a christian there in America and a christian here in Brazil don't have the same moral standards, even though they are christians)... There are a few rebel atheists who are immoral... but they are immoral because they are rebel, and not because they are atheist! The same way there are good christians and bad christians, there are good atheists and bad atheists and so on (Damn... i hate to use the good vs. bad comparisons... oh well...). Ah... one more thing... i think we should draw a line in between i-mmoral and a-moral... Immoral is when something or someone goes against the moral standards of a specific society... Amoral is when someone or something just doesn't have the same moral standards of the society (not necessairly going against it). I really can't consider atheism immoral, moral, or amoral... i think in the end morality it has nothing to do with "theism" at all...
Thank you NoNameProphet, for backin my opinion up! First a Judgewhatever with a thousand and something posts comes outta nowhere and tries to pointlessly destroy a compliment and puts Ninja_Scientist arguments down with no FACTS backin him up (egocentrism maybe? Maybe the "big Judgewhatever diety" can't have another diety around?)... Then a brown noser (is it spelled like this?) comes around and tries to show how great Judgewhatever is and tells me that arguments should be backed up with facts (Big news!). I just gave Ninja_Scientist a straighforward compliment for her arguments FULL of facts and sources! And this is a POLITICS forum, dammit! Why shouldn't be posts long?? I mean... is reading 20 or more lines this hard?? Politics can't be neatly discussed with just a few lines at a time!
And PULEASE don't answer me back saying i have bad grammar and spelling skills or typos in my messages as an excuse to show how stupid i am because im just tired of ppl who do that (I'm not telling you necessairly do that).

Your questions just show how shallow your religion beliefs are... so you have a religion because it makes you a moral person? It seems like you have a religion to run away from the responsability of being the judge of your own actions... you shouldn't a "judging" god to make you behave!
And one more thing (and most important of all)... You generalize "religion" as a set of beliefs in which god is the big shot, and everyone is judged by him... study other religions and broaden your mind! Even morality is a pretty arguable (is there such word?) subject, in a philosophical and sociological point of view...
I'm pretty sure they'll never be found! Not Saddam nor Osama! They surely are not going to turn themselves to the enemy, so probably they will bomb-suicide so that they never get caught... i mean... IF they get close to being catched! Probably both of them are having great meals in wherever they are hidden!

I dunno why the US keeps supporting the idea that Saddam is dead... oh wait... i do know... it's so that it doesn't look like a failure like it looked during the afghan war... Come on! Only being quite naive i would believe Osama was hiding in caves all the time and Saddam was in one of his govt buildings during the bombings! And Saddam probably isn't in the "small house" mentioned on the letter as well! They are killers but they aren't stoopid! The only stoopid killer in this story is G. Bush!

Well... Bush will be "right" just after the US stops planting in Iraq all the fake proof and the "Made in USA" chem bombs... Too bad you Americans never see the real thing on the news... but a few specialists from renowned universities around the US said that there is a good change American secret service may do something like that... And it doesn't take specialists to predict something like this really... just common sense can do the job...

Who said everyone knew Saddam was evil?? Come on! Walk around on their shoes dude! Iraqis had no contact to outside world... All media around them said USA was evil (actually the US govt IS evil in many, many ways)... For the last 10 years the US dropped bombs on iraq and killed Iraqis... How the hell are they supposed to know Saddam was evil? How the hell is a brainwashed Iraqi citizen (who lost a wife or a brother due to American bombing) supposed to consider America good and Saddam evil? Oh wait... actually nobody should call things "GOOD" and "EVIL" like a 6 yr old child... And certainly NOT call USA "GOOD"... But anyway... my point is... You are all acting as if Iraqis knew stuff that you think is obvious... but guess what: Ppl around the world are different, with different situations, cultures, way of thinking... DAMN, many of you Americas can't notice that you are not the center of the world and that the rest of the world is different from your backyard! NOBODY wants the US in Iraq... The Iraqis and most of the international community wants the US out as soon as possible, and thats a fact! Why doesnt the US do a favor to us all and just leave Iraqi people?
It is true the Iraqi need help to rebuild and have a govt... but certainly NOT help from the US... PULEASE just let smarter leaders from more honest countries help the suffering Iraqis! Ive lived for a while in canada AND in the US... In my opinion all these fake facts are more likely to happen in the US... not in Canada... But anyway... we cant judge ppl for their nationality... we have to judge individuals... but I must say that considering the individuals i met in both countries... id rather stay in Canada

You really think USA would not put bogus evidences in Iraq to justify war??? Or youre so badly informed that you don't even know that most of the documents that British AND American Intelligence used to justify the war were fakes? or you dont know how ridiculous colin powell looked on one of UN meetings before the war, in which he could not convince anyone with the false proofs he had? FFX is pretty pretty easy. I dunno if it is cuz i got used to it... but it ended so damn SOON! FF series is getting easier and easier... and too linear... and even though making FFX-2 really seems right cuz FFX needed more, i have to agree that FFX-2 is all about marketing... selling songs, clothes and other things related to japanese pop culture... I mean... FFX-2 has substance and i like it... but still... too much propaganda and pop for my tolerance levels...
You can't blame Saddam's "followers" cuz most of them are nothing but starving ppl (cuz of american pretty uneven sanctions) trying to survive in a society where everyone was brainwashed and controlled through fear... You can't blame an oppressed population for trying to save their own lives, supporting a unfair govt! I mean... put yourself on their shoes... you are almost dying... everyone around ya says that the US is responsible for that... and then suddenly American bombs drop from the sky (and im not talking about the war... im talking about bombs that were dropped during the past 10 years on Iraq) killing lots of arabs in your city (including your own family)... who you gonna support if you have no contact with the outside world... and if you didn't have a fair opportunity of thinking for yourself? It is much harder than you think to do a popular uprising and throw off an unfair govt, under such conditions! PULEASE try to think more by yourself and try to read different news sources from all around the world to broaden your minds and horizons... cuz faithfully repeating EVERYTHING that G. Bush says is philosophically (is it spelled right?) as stupid as blindly following an unfair leader!
