32 entrants, that's the most I've seen of the past 3 trials.

And Squeezy gets bonus points for using The Pillows.

Reminds me of the song: The Chordettes - Lollipop.

Lollipop, lollilop, oh lolli lollilop...

We can't use the Pencil tool, but what about using the Brush, then inking outlines with the Ink Jar? I think one person said he would do that...

the girl on the right...her boobs are way too low. If she had boobs, at the height her top is, she'd have some major clevage.

And the person in the middle has something on their back.

Thanks for the honest critique, I often have trouble with those tricky boobs.

Congrats to all the Time Trial artists on finally obtaining this collection.

A tutorial collection would be nice.

I started coming back here to do some Time Trials. I skip the AS threads cause I'm not a game designer.

Wow, if your daily lives were this violent the world would be in trouble!

For the people who asked about pasting frames into a MC...yes you can do that. but editing a MC in place (making sure it's centered with Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V or the Ctrl+K menu) is much simpler.

The 2nd method.

Happy to see Tom is actively trying to promote our welfare! I for one support the cleaner ads, cause it just makes things fit in with each other better.

*digs up his previous TT try, slaps glasses on the main char, and submits*

...nahhhh. But I'm content with how fast the new one came out. One week or so, just as promised.

Hmmm...it's a tad open ended, though. We like some limits to our freedom. I wonder how many are gonna do one about themselves wondering what to do for the TT, etc, etc.

Have yet to start thinking about a silly plot.

Response to: Time Trial Xii Posted August 20th, 2004 in Game Development

Wow! Front page...I'm glad I got to be involved with something on front page at least...even if it was by proxy.

Does this mean we're finally gonna have a TT collection?

Any content guidelines? And what about submitting in Flash 5, it's compatible with Flash 6, so there should be no prob, right?

The paradox should be correct, I mean one of your entities in time has to start the loop and it still wouldn't make sense. Of course if you didn't kill anyone...but perhaps history was already changed by your mere presence.

Hey China's in first. I'll wager that it's their traditional strengths in diving, ping pong and badminton. No I'm not from China but I'm close enough.

Export as .png. If NG doesn't allow it as attachment, host it on www.photobucket.com.

They may not even know their art is being ripped, especially in the first example. Not everyone goes to NG.

I don't understand, pls elaborate. Are you saying NG doesn't have to credit artists, who may or may not have known at all that their art was being used for banner ads?

NG guilty of plagiarism? Posted August 18th, 2004 in General

http://www.amy.hi-ho.ne.jp/takamichi/CG/CG/CG_029.jpg (from the site http://www.amy.hi-ho.ne.jp/takamichi/F_TOP.htm, "TAKAMICHI HOMEPAGE")

Does that seem familiar? Of course, because it's one of NG's banner ads: http://newgrounds.com/ads/adult/anime_banner3.jpg

And what about those bouncy girls, like the one here: http://newgrounds.com/collections/dress.html? Those can be found here: http://wootanime.com/girls.html
I know the guy who runs the site, who is the original creator of the girls, and is also a NG user.

Do you see any credits being given to either of those artists, by NG?

If I am mistaken, someone pls offer an explanation, and I'll be much obliged.

Most likely, but 2 of the finished Flashes were already submitted individually, and the rest are unfinished or sloppy (like mine).

Since we're doing this, here's mine: http://members.lycos.co.uk/misterx9999/Flash/NGTimeTrialXII.swf

It got sloppy near the end, compounded by the fact that I had to return my friend's WACOM pad, ensuring sore mouse fingers...tracing manually can be a pain.
