Halo 3.
Seriously, I put it in, launched a normal campaign, and then there was a grunt, and it threw a turtle at me, so I exploded with children in my eyes.
That may have been the drugs, though.

Even bigger than Cloud has

He occasionally uses 96 boomsticks, 42 miniguns, and 56 sniper rifles at once.

your character is fragile and you have a panic meter instead of a health gauge, not to mentin what is easily the best story from any horror game ive ever seen

Oh yes, Panic meters, Sanity meters, other random names for things.
I remember there being one in Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, for the Gamecube.
For being a pretty old console game, and on the Gamecube of all systems, it was really freaky.

That kind of sense of isolation would benefit a horror game plenty. :)

What system is it for?
I never heard of it.

Topic says it all.

I personally prefer Silent Hill horror, where there are scary minsters, but shit doesn't just pop out at you and scream every 7 seconds, over, say, Dead Space type horror, where shit DOES pop out at you every 7 seconds.

The part in Saints Row 2 where you have to chase some Ronin in golf carts while inside an airport.

Novelty value isn't good if you fuck the entire sequence up and make it boring as hell.

One good Idea is to never go on Facepunch and say that.
Trust me. Saying that is the equal of a permaban there.

Response to: What do you expect in a game? Posted March 4th, 2009 in Video Games

I like a deep storyline and customization. Not to be picky, but I also prefer horror games in the "You're-on-the-edge-of-your-seat-thinkin g-something-will-jump-out-at-you-and-eat -your-face-but-it-doesn't" category over the "You're-sitting-there-and-something-jump s-out-and-eats-your-face" and "You're-on-the-edge-of-your-seat-thinkin g-something-will-jump-out-and-eat-your-f ace-and-it-does-and-you-are-like-oh-well -that's-alright-then" categories.
