Response to: Misantropy Posted September 15th, 2009 in General

I used to be like you when I was fourteen. Then I grew up, and I realized that the world wasn't mine to save, and that the stupidity of people isn't something I have to brood over. If you hate the world and all its flaws, then live your life based on the principles you want to see other people show. You can only make a difference when you live the change. Nothing will happen if you sit here and gripe about it.

Response to: I'm going to be homeless... Posted June 14th, 2009 in General

And what does any of this accomplish?

You get your pretentious self-enlightenment, and thousands of people are still starving and homeless and you haven't done SHIT to help them. In fact, you've mooched resources that could have been given to THEM, but weren't, because they were given to you, a person who could have afforded these things on his own, because you can't just be thankful for the things you have on your own. You have to have the damn experience.

Here's an experience:
ACTUALLY VOLUNTEER AT HOMELESS SHELTERS.
Raise money, donate to charity, MAKE A FUCKING DIFFERENCE.
If you see a homeless guy, offer to buy him a fuckin' meal.

Do SOMETHING.

I earn about $15 an hour, but it all goes to a bank account for college. :)

I was lucky enough to get a job at my dad's office. He's a doctor and owns his own practice... so I do assistant secretary stuff.

Response to: Your Opinion of Drug Legalization Posted May 31st, 2009 in General

Prohibition didn't work back then, the War on Drugs isn't working now.

I don't advocate drug use. I would never put anything like that in my body, but that's MY personal choice. What someone else puts into their body is their own damn business and they have every right to.

Depends who you go out with.
I wouldn't keep your hopes up for highschool girls. There aren't very many who have emotional and intellectual maturity to take a relationship seriously.

I would think you'd have a better time in college, or just out in life, but you never know.

Try not to take it too seriously right now. As you grow up, the girls will grow up too. (Hopefully.)

Response to: I've got a girlfriend? Posted May 28th, 2009 in General

Honestly, I don't think it would be a good idea to lead her on.
If she gets bullied, she's probably really insecure. If you lie to her and continue a fake relationship, it'll just make things worse in the end.
You don't have to date her to make her feel better about herself.
You could be a supportive friend, you know.

That was really nice the way you stood up for her, though. :)

I rode one of my dad's dirtbikes around our property for a couple of hours. I got bored after a little while and decided to go home. As I was riding into my driveway, I tried breaking. The break had given out, I guess it was just broken. Either way, I made impact with a brick wall next to my house. I completely broke my leg and dislocated it out of my hip. it was screwed up for MONTHS. I was in so much pain, I passed out a few seconds after everything in my leg broke. I had a lot of bruises and scratches, all that stuff, but the leg pain was distinct.

Thats pretty boring though compared to what you could have dont you think? I mean least with a typical wedding you can have the ceremony and food etc.

It doesn't exactly have to be religious.
My cousin's atheist, she got married near a river and her brother "married" them. They already did the whole registry thing, but they had a fun ceremony too.

It's called curiosity. They're only displayed as offline and there is no indication they have blocked you.

Hence the reason why I'm asking.

Is the person who maybe blocked you friends with your other friends on your list?

If so, you could just ask your friends if the person is still displayed online for them... if the person is, then he/she blocked you.

Response to: I Hate My Parents.. Posted May 23rd, 2009 in General

If you hate your parents that much and are determined that your life would be SO much better without them, then go get emmancipated and see how long you can last on your own without them.

I sure as hell don't like my parent's personalities much, but I still respect and love them because they've worked REALLY hard to provide for me and give me childhoods they couldn't have.

You made a mistake. Don't hover on it. Just move on and learn from it. When you find another girl at some point, maybe you'll know to appreciate her this time.
