Welcome back random troll fail Millis. If your going to try to be an informative troll, at least get your facts right. Mexicans and Gypsies? Seriously? No. The common slide was adapted by african american blues artists emulating techniques from hawaiin and african string playing styles.

Check your facts: the Negro lacks the brain capacity to do any such thing without the help of decades of detailed instruction and even then it's hit or miss. Look up Django Reinhardt, then we'll talk.

The first part of the recording is just using it to get a tom morello record scratching kind of sound, without using effects. The second part I'm swirling the edge of the slide around the frets, do it like you were doing it with your finger tip. The third is strumming the strings with the edge.

I caught on to this, one night while I was playing with a pinky ring on, and it would catch the strings now and then.

Old news is old. Seriously, that has been around for ages, like 112 years to be exact. Originated in Mexico of all places and spread into the southwest, gained popularity during the Dust Bowl with folk singers and used in gypsy songs in Europe at the same time before they were all eradicated from the continent. Most slides were glass or bone.

Native Instruments plugins don't generally work well in FL due to the nature of the software and the high end quality of it. On a PC, you're better of using NI plugins in Pro Tools, Sonar, Acid or Cubase to get the most out of them.

But I have tried uploading some of my garageband songs on 2 different accounts but was banned because they were made in garageband. One was made entirely in garageband out of garageband loops and another I had recorded my guitar on with some garageband loops but still got banned! So can we please get this strait? Can I upload songs made in Garageband or not?

(also keep in mind that garageband loops are NOT copyrighted or whatever are are allowed to be used by anyone anywhere on anything. Some famous musicians even use garageband loops in their songs!)

B. Except as otherwise indicated, you may use the Apple and third party audio file content (including, but not limited to, the Apple Loops, built-in sound files, samples and impulse responses) (collectively the "Audio Content"), contained in or otherwise included with the Apple Software, on a royalty-free basis, to create your own original soundtracks for your film, video and audio projects. You may broadcast and/or distribute your own soundtracks that were created using the Audio Content, however, individual Apple loops, audio files, sound settings, samples and impulse responses may not be commercially or otherwise distributed on a standalone basis, nor may they be repackaged in whole or in part as audio samples, sound files, sound effects or music beds.

That's the law, so yeah, the law trumps a silly site like Newgrounds. Hate to break that to those living in their fantastic glass towers. I suggest getting yourself a lawyer.

He's just another wanker from a half-assed school like Berklee with little to offer but a bunch of cliches and random playing that has no direction, flow or motif that at the end of the day he sounds just like everyone else who went thru that school. Not a single musician who goes there sounds original, they all sound alike no matter what style they play and the jazz musicians who go there all come out sounding like carbon copies of their instructors, they are not musicians but robots programed to follow bullshit rules set forth by a school that promises high standards but delivers trite and generic label material.

Next please.

Stick to a real drum that actually has notation (you'll have to learn bass clef if you don't already know it) and has far more expression that what you posted:

Record with a microphone on the floor four feet from where you are sitting, this is how most concert halls amplify acoustic guitar and record it professionally. If that does not work, get an acoustic pickup and stick inside the soundhole and plug directly into your equipment.

Fleas and Roaches!? Posted June 27th, 2010 in General

I moved into a new apartment last week and it's completely infested with fleas and cockroaches. I've told my landlord about it but he can't be bothered to fix the issue, apparently it's been like this for over a decade in the building now. I bought foggers and flea powder but have found that the flea powder attacks MORE roaches into my apartment after spreading it! The fogger is useless; once I kill them in my own apartment they creep in from the rest of the building and there's just as many, or more if I use the powder!

Any ideas on what to do?

Also, rate how ugly this super ugly chick is, she's The Rack's girlfriend and I just can't get over how much of a beast this thing is, makes my roaches look nice:
