How can there be a problem with this? The Tea Party is all for it as it is the best solution. We need money, we make money, we have money we reverse damage.

I'm so tired about hearing how bad the economy is and how there's nothing being done and that we need solutions. I have the perfect solution: print more money! I don't see why nobody's brought that to the table (probably because its too simple and so obvious).

Let's consider it: We need money in circulation. We don't have enough. We print more, then we have enough and the economy goes back to normal.

There is no flaw in this plan.

Avoid headphones. They are not accurate and reduce the bass, meaning that your final product will probably have too much bass (a common thing on Newgrounds). Here is advice from a mastering studio on the subject:

"Headphones do have a place in our daily work: they are useful:

-for final QC or quality control
-for evaluating low-frequency content if you don't have full-range speakers
-when working in a noisy environment
-when checking and removing unwanted artifacts like clicks and pops and noise
-in particular to hear edit points more clearly

But for day-to-day work they have a few distinct disadvantages over a proper speaker system:

-Panning and imaging is a lot harder to judge on headphones than on speakers.
-There is no real phantom image: With speakers, part of the sound coming from the left speaker is picked up by the right ear and vice versa. These inter-aural timing differences are what give the music depth and a more realistic sound stage. Our brains use a combination of intensity, spectral (the "shadow effect" of the head prevents higher frequencies to reach the other ear), and timing cues to determine the location of various sounds.

-Most headphones color the sound and don't cover the entire range of audio frequencies.
-Listening to headphones for many hours is more tiring than listening to speakers

It might be the case that these days, more music is being listened to on headphones and earbuds than a set of speakers, but if the music translates well on a proper set of monitors, it is likely to sound good on headphones, not the other way round. However, if the acoustics of your room are very poor, a set of headphones may just be the answer.

You can get a decent set of studio monitors for the same price range. M-Audio makes a pair that is only $179 and has nearly a full frequency range and is perfect for properly hearing, mixing and mastering a track.

Since you're just starting and discovering, you're best off getting a program that as strong MIDI and audio recording features (FL really blows for audio recording). My suggestions are Cubase, Pro Tools M-Powered, Reason/Record Duo (or wait until Reason 6 this fall which has integrated Record's audio recording into Reason's native rack) or Ableton Live (you can get the LE version for less than FL Studio and it's much more versatile and a good way to break into that software, though Live and Suite are much more powerful and useful).

Deconstruct bass presets and see how they work in Subtractor and Thor. You will want to learn about filter modulation, LFO use and routing in Reason to create some more intricate sounds. From the sounds of it, you are better off sticking to presets until you get a better feel for the program. You're nowhere near the level of a sound designer yet, and you need to know your tools before you can use them properly.
