Had no intention of posting this here, but I saw the topic and decided why not. Just a quick story.
So I had been hanging out with this girl on the weekends for most of the semester. My friends and I, and her friends and her had all been really close friends since last year (we all lived on the same floor), and everything really just seemed natural.
About 2 months ago, she invited me to sleep in her bed, and since that night I had slept there just about every Friday/Saturday. At first we just went to sleep in each others' arms, and it was great. Then only in the past 3-4 weeks had we started to make out, and more recently some further actions.
Then last night, I asked her if she wanted this to be more than just weekend hookups. I intended us to be officially a couple, whence she blindsided me with the whole "We should just be friends, I don't think we should do this anymore" deal. She also told me "Sorry if I led you on," which makes no sense to me, since, for fuck's sake, we've been sleeping in the same bed for two months! How am I not to think she is interested at this point?
Needless to say, I'm pretty shocked and upset right now. Not sure that I'm really looking for advice here, though if you've got any, feel free to throw it out there. Guess I'm really just looking for an e-shoulder to cry on.
Thanks.
