What the fuck is with this new craze of abbreviating an acronym? L is apparently shorthand for "laughing", but it is just a poor man's LOL. Just to put this into perspective, I have some history.
Long in the days of ago, there was an acronym created and spread around. It stood for "laughing out loud", thus was written as "LOL". It remained unchanged for many years, until the past 6 months when I've noticed it, and it's fucking pissed me off. Why do you need to abbreviate an abbreviation? Why do you feel the need to shave as many keystrokes off what you're saying as possible? Typing is like women. You want a good balance between how full it is and how slim it is. My writing is about 115 pounds, a perfect weight. Understandable and easy to read. but wen u type lik dis its fuken hard 2 reed it, therefore creating an anorexic fucking sentence that needs to be deciphered before it's readable in the slightest way, and taking much more time to type out than a normal sentence. So, the point of not making your sentences 65 pounds each is:
-Ease of typing
-Ease of reading
-You look a lot smarter typing the way I do den dis shet
So, in the end, are you really winning anyone over by using an abbreviation of an abbreviation, and further bastardising the English language? "L that wuz a funny joke" is disgraceful.
I don't give a fucking fuck fucked up its fucking ass whether this is the Internet or not, it's no excuse to show complete disregard for your education, the same education your parents paid for, and that people worked to implant into your mind.
Fucking idiot.
