Slowly But surely you guys. Part 1 was giving me troubles. I almost f*ucked up an hours worth of work in 10 secs. That makes me sad. So how is everyone else doing?

I'm interested in the black knight or the fatality part. I am working on a 3D Rook right now but I will get back to you on the voices. if there is a tiny script you want me to read off of for the knight(s) send me a PM. In fact, even if what you subtitled is what you want, send me a PM anyway.

What voices do you need? Sure the chess pieces, but do you need a guy saying "fatality"?

That's pretty sweet idea. The colors work well together and I do like the timer (I don't play enough chess to know what that thing is officially called or just a "timer") added into the transaction.

So who's familiar with FX's Archer? It is 3D modeled background but with more of a photoshop like touch up to give it a 2D feel for those who aren't familiar. If so you can help me out. I was thinking of making my background like theirs because it would give it more of a cartoony feel to complement the 2D animation I am contributing.

I am not even close to being done. I called it 5% maybe high-balling it. I also think the background is too plain yet so I got more to do... after work.

So if I posted it right, it's about 5%ish done. Lots of tweaks, but this is what I mean by a 3D background.

Dammit, I meant a 3D object like a jpeg from software like 3ds Max. Not from action script 3 or such.

While I got your attention, may I implement 3D objects (i.e. the background) in my segment?

I feel it works better as a two-part segment. It is like those classic Warner Bros. cartoons. It is like Bugs Bunny and Wile E. Coyote cartoons mixed. The beginning part of the black knight running and then freeze frame " Black Knight " and underneath that in parenthesis a scientific sounding name for it and then the white king comes up, steals the chess board tile underneath the black knight and the black knight drops straight down. Second segment would be the classic paint-a-tunnel-on-a-wall bit. Like I said I feel it would work better as a two-part segment, but I can work my way into making it one if you wish.

I was wondering if it was alright if I could split my segment in half? Like one half more in the beginning and another towards the end?
