You aren't helping, the Punk-O-Matic is very complex, you can't just 'learn actionscript' and then make it. He doesn't want to, he wants to do the graphics so take your crappy advice and go away. Learning AS is a good thing, I have learned a lot of it over time, but when an artist wants to coauthor an actionscripter you don't throw AS:Main at them like it's against the rules to just be an artist.

Thanks anyway. I know the basics of programming and I have worked with actionscript before, I just know im not capable of doing something like punk-o-matic anytime soon. Id rather focus on the graphics and music...

Well I got my mind set on doing a HIP HOP version rap-o-matic
I can do the graphics and all the music/voices for it. All I need is someone that knows what they're doing when it comes to the code. Anyway if you're interested let me know .

Fruity Loops is decent. Reason 3.0 Is the photoshop for music. (www.propellerheads.com) but its a lot harder to use then fruity loops.

If you're starting out just go with Fruity Loops. You might also want to check out Acid Pro.
