Sounds like maybe your ceiling fan is affecting your power outlets? Tre weird, dude. If you have a whole bunch of stuff running off a single powerboard or outlet you should probably move some of it to a different outlet if possible.
Actually try unplugging some stuff that you don't need first and see if that does anything. Are you sending MIDI messages via USB or MIDI cable?
aww man you have an alpha juno and i am mega jealous of you right now, but i'll eat up these samples.
at least i have my bassline
it comes with, full name is "Fruity Blood Overdrive". the image below shows a rough bunch of settings you can use. the main thing is to play around with the "PreBand" and "Colour" to adjust the tone to your liking. moving them just the smallest amount can change the sound pretty drastically, take a bit of time to play around with different combinations!
i'd also put a fast dist before the overdrive if you really want to crank it, otherwise it sounds less like hardcore and more like really old school rave music. the dnc_kick_2 sound is under packs>legacy>dance BUT you can find heaps of similar, yet different sounding samples if you do a google search for "tr-909 kick". cause it's the kick drum sound from the old roland tr-909 drum machine, y'see. have fun :)
generic supersaw, played monophonic with a bit of portamento.
i used FL for rancid meatflaps, the bassdrums are mostly 909 kicks (e.g. DNC_Kick_2) witb blood overdrive and a lot of compression.
One of the only things blood overdrive is actually good for (in a pinch) is hardcore bassdrums.

Urs Heckmann is a legend! His Uhbik effect set is just fantastic, especially for the amount of money it costs.
i made a technogrind joke band called rancid meatflaps ages ago lmao
was good times.
i've always been more partial to meat shits than torsofuck
Other people's ideas are usually pretty terrible or uninspiring :(
I might make shirts if/when this gets popular, but Rome wasn't built in a day!
My name is great and I never want to change it so hah!
Also, I'm still doing the daily dick drawing thing!
i don't care per se, but i like that you let us know so i'm not confused by the appearence of some random guy.
21! you better be having the best party of your life tomorrow.
it was probably a joke
not a good joke, but a joke nonetheless
No worries, broski. Now I went and upload my own WIP cause I'm at a bit of a dead end with it. I'll probably take it down in a couple days, though.
I was also wondering if resolving to 4/4 in a clever way won't make me lose marks, will it?

Oh dear, this is awkward.

I use them to mix ALL the time and the cost me about 80 bucks at microcenter.
good god man, this was actually really funny. A+ troll 5/5 would read again.

A little of column A, a little of column B.

They were used but in absolutely perfect condition. They are extremely good for mixing and very flat and accurate. Don't believe me? The proof is in the measurements my friend...
Nah I'd believe that. If there's one thing Behringer actually do right, it's really nice budget monitors!
The way my room is set up at the moment, the biggest monitors I can fit are ~6" and they'd have to go in a wooden alcove. I'd like to work with well positioned monitors in a well treated room as an ideal but I can deal with mixing in headphones as long as I have other systems to reference from.
Also... duuuuuude, Alessandro MS-Pro's. drool.
If you can find a rehearsal studio that where you can walk out wotj individual mixer tracks for each session then you should snap up that oppurtunity even if you have to travel for ages. I'd be rather surprised if you did find one like that, though.
If you go into a proper recording studio it'll cost a pretty hefty amount, especially for someone who is, of their own admission, "just a kid". When you plan a day in a recording studio you should be ready to record, at the very least, an entire EP that you wouldn't be ashamed to sell for a few dollars. Otherwise you're just wasting the engineer's time and your own money.
If you love playing with the band then the best thing you guys can do is play a lot of live shows at as many venues as you can. It's ultimately more rewarding than dicking around in a studio for hours on end!

The bass is tight/punchy but the levels are very low. You kinda need to EQ correctively to even be able to hear it at low volumes.
I dunno, they seem bassier than most other headphones I've ever used, especially the Alessandro MS-Pro pair I have now which are fundamentally identical to Grado RS-1s. I've used eh150, hd212 and hd201 pairs, dunno about others.
I'm probably mental or deprived of other references D:

Monitors? I'd advise you to stick with headphones if you're producing on a laptop without a dedicated studio room or at least a common place where you make most of your music.
This. Monitors that are actually worth getting are going to set you back way more than $300, anyway. If you want to shell out that much on monitors you might as well get some more advanced, open-back headphones.

you better write me that song in 361 days bjra!
if any of you like what i'm doing here then be a mad bro and show people and help me out by adding it to places like stumbleupon and showing your friends that you're not personally ashamed of loving dicks by posting it on facebook. /shameless self promotion.
i want to make a joke about popping your cherry but i don't actually want to enlist your services.
If I do upload a WIP i'll probably delete the first one then upload the final version. This is okay y/n?

just listen at lower volumes and use a slighlty longer attack and less makeup gain on the compressor
that steakjohnson sure is a dbag amirite?
35 euros. I won it for free though.

Just noticed someone posted a WIP for this. Is it cool if we do this?
The track in question was coming along quite nicely too :)
