For sure! Longer and more substantial releases are on the way :)

What this guy's talking about is something that will only work for your each project. If you want to change which folder opens first when you go to File > Open I don't think you'll have much luck.
Have you added your own project folder to the browser through Options > File Settings? Not sure if you know this, but you can also make a favourites list of folders in the open/save/save as menus.
Okay wow completely misread the question (fffffuuuuu i am tired) and assumed you already had a copy of protools and had an iLok
You probably will need to purchase an iLok if you don't already have one.
The ilock is just for the protools software, not for the keyboard. You can use that keyboard with any software, really (given it's an Axiom/Oxygen)
Thanks everybody! :)
Title's just a joke lol ;)
but it's probably only 5 chords over 8 measures tbh!

So I finally got around to finishing an 8-bit EP. Woo! This is the whole "blip bloop unce unce" thing but very inspired by early 2000's pop punk structure and songwriting so if you like fun music and are a cool person in general you will probably enjoy this a lot!
Download it on Bandcamp!
It's free for the first 200 folks who want it for free, but if you love it you can always send me a bit of cash dollar.
I uploaded one of the tracks to NG a couple weeks ago:

Yes please do, but take your beautiful souls to the NAC general discussion thread to do so :)

They are in the current sticky already and nobody reads it. Audio mods don't moderate the forum.

any synth is a proper synth.
Ilsa Fisher has pretty nice percs.
seriously, daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn

Develop it naturally, then spend extra time condensing it. You're just working to a brief that happens to have a time limit; it's not big deal.

Not really understanding why this is a problem, given the circumstances and the brief.
rampant is a pretty cool guy <3
Gonna be honest, I kind of want to cop out by doing an ensemble piece but at the same time it's not really copping out if i put the same effort into only 4 or 5 instruments.
Was thinking of doing something for piano, flute, cor anglais, cello and viola.
Anything on this page within your price range will be suitable, although if you don't need knobs and stuff you can get a plain controller keyboard with a wider range for under $100
Are small ensemble pieces okay? Pieces for a quartet, quintet, etc. Obviously not all instruments of the same family.

What? Sure they do!
there's only one lol
Yeah actually, what are you using as your clean guitar sound atm? If they're just crappy samples that would probably have a lot to do with stuff sounding "terrible and fake" imo.

Get a program with VST support and try some of the free head/speaker simulators these guys. If you don't like any of those and you have money get Guitar Rig, and if you think that sounds "terrible and fake" then you're just an asshole lol.
SimSynth Live is pretty lush and underrated. WASP and XT are fantastic too. Fruity DX10 has your FM plinks and plonks down pat if you need those. And then there are a few more goodies if you look hard enough through the plugin menu....

I don't have enough RAM to afford that lol ._.

I got a whole bunch of loopmasters stuff that I wish I could use but totally can't D:

Worst comes to worst you can always load up an older autosave and copy the score(s) over. Unles syou were working for so long that any autosave with the old score is gone ._.

Yeah I mean the sound itself is eerie. Sometimes the disc would take ages to load and the PS1 opening sound would completely trail off, then just as you're about to go press reset it's all like "SCHWAAASSZLLIIINNGGGDOoo-dooo... dooo!"
I like the 2nd sound a lot just on it's own; it plays by itself when you run a PS1 game on a PS2. Really eerie shit!

Every moderately knowing musician knows how classify DnB rhythms and tempo, even the stupid ones.
Seriously there's like one maybe two breakbeat songs on the dnb page right now.
I was gonna go listen to 5 random songs on the DnB page to back you up on that, but then the first one I listened to was half-time breakbeat with orchestral instruments in the background. ._.
