woah! that went wrong, sorry bout the double post

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to find a place to host my regualar webcomic, I have tried a few places, with problems =[

Wordpress - I could get a good size but it underlapped the nav bar =[

Live Journal - I could get it readable size.

Comic Fury - Hard to use and I could get my comic to upload.

Does anyone have any help on this?

Hi, I just needed to bring this topic back because I've hit a problem:

I recently just uploaded a free theme from the wordpress theme and I put it in a new folder in wp-content>Themes and I tried to select it on the wordpress dashboard but when I click on the themes page it says page not found???

Any help with this?

Hi Everyone,

I was looking for someone to help me, I am looking for a comedy writer to help me with this little "project" I was trying to put together, its a serise of three to five frame comics to submit to my website for people to view. I was looking for someone who could write the small stories/comics for me to draw and upload. They would be credited in every edition of the comics but there would be no payment because this isn't a money spinning opertunity.

If anyone wants a sample of my work or more information, give me a PM.

Also, I'm trying to get this project off the ground as soon as possible so it would help if you were currently available.

I was wondering if anyone could help me, I recently set up a Wordpress blog for my site (HolyCheese) and it all seems to be working its just I can't seem to find a theme that fits in with my website and I don't really do php. I have seen a couple of Wordpress Blogs where it actually looks like the wordpress blog is embeded in to the page, so I was wondering instead of creating or finding a theme to fit the rest of the site I could embed it into a HTML document I had already?

Any help with this appreicated.

I suppose.

Look at what it asks you for, and type in the information. God if you can't even follow the most basic of web installers there's not any body on earth that can help you. The installer has like 2 steps, and one of them is a "Wordpress has been successfully set up" page.

It says in the wordpress readme files that I first have to get some information from the database?

Yes, I think its my email system, it usually holds stuff that it thinks is spam for a bit longer than usual

Hi, everyone I have an A.S. type question, tried to make a simple login system in flash, I put this actions script in the first frame:

In the second frame I made a logged in page and on the third a failed page but even when I type in the correct password and username it still takes me to the failed page. all my text fields have the correct var: name and the login button has an instance of login_button.

Any help?

It features all the characters in the serises:
Simon- green
Alex- Blue
Matt- Red
Matt is supposed to be the main character but Simon sortta takes this episode.

Hi everyone i just had a little AS question. Would it be possible to create a login and registration system in a flash document so useres could register and account and login using a private password and save progress to be used in games or websites

what about writers who don't animate?

I have been planning a serise of funny shorts to animate but I'm really struggling making them funny I just don't have any humours ideas so I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me because I really think I could animate them well and I know a couple of voice actors and I have loads of SFX. they only have to be really short shorts that are reasonably funny but If anyone could help me then thanks.

I've seen so many good websites recently that arn't made with flash and was just wondering what programs people are making websites with recently because although I'm currently updating my website, its made in flash and can't help thinking it would be better if it wasn't made with flash?
