........okay...........I see the problem.............a glitch that seems to have magically slipped its way in, just press 'q' and skip the tutorial at that point.

You may want to check your inbox. Yours was the one (sorta one) game I had a problem with and gave up, but I'll re-evaluate it if you bother to explain what the problem was. I was probably doing something wrong but after finding no help in the comments, and trying various things, just gave up.

I'd hate to think I treated your game unfairly, as I played far more of any other.

Oh okay..........so your stuck at the beginning. Well, one way around that is to just press "q" and skip tutorials at that point (that is the last part of the tutorial anyway). Or, make sure you don't have your caps lock pressed in. Or, kill some enemies and get your meter more full. I don't think I have ever run into this problem before, but I would just skip tutorials if I were you and it didn't work with that.

........what do you mean? What was the problem you were having, my inbox is having issues...........was it the tutorial thing...........or.............I can help you now. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

What about Sky Boarder III..............what about me.................what about me.............oh well I wasn't expecting to pull a win out. It is now obvious to me that X-men and Interactive Buddy are locks for a win. Also, I think that there is a HUGE CHANCE THAT TMST'S ONE AND BUNNYKILL will grab a spot. This is more than likely 4 of the 5 that will make it. .....................sigh.................I thought I had a chance.

Yeah, good luck to everyone who is an author of these very hard to do flashes. The talent level on this site is incredible and I am actually (as gay as this sounds) honored to be creating with you all.

Just a suggestion for next month.

Some may not agree with this, but here goes:

1. Have less to choose from. People are lazy......most people....so chances are they REALLY WON'T TRULY view/play through 150 pieces. Either make it less pieces or make a longer time period to view the 150.

2. Categorize the games and the movies seperate. Lets just take a look at the number of games to movies in this competition, not to mention the top 50 slots, and not to mention the number of game submissions to movie submissions. Maybe an award for games and an award for movies seperate. This would give both sides more direct competition, and also level the playing field for those whom submit games (myself included)

3. Even MORE SELECTIVE group of voters. I know the goal is to include the newgrounds public, however the 2,000 tops may still be a little high of a number for judges. This one not so much as the other two suggestions but still kinda.

There you have it for now, my top 3 suggestions for this competion in the future. Although the way it is now is fine, and it will DEFINATELY bring a GRADE AAA calibur artist best work out of him/her. This is big time for newgrounds and its authors alike.

I'm right on the line, I guess, #2196, so there's at least 196 people in the top 2195 that haven't logged on this month...

And FYI, my #1 pick comes in at Sky Boarder III Ver2. Good job, Micol =)

If only more people had the time, I'm sure HUGE games like mine would get more plays and perhaps more votes. Oh well, back to the drawing board......as long as someone out there actually will play one of my games, and at least one person says it was one of the best experiences ever I will continue to make my games even in this Movie dominated enviornment....

Originality......................Noah and that box should be number 1. Why?...............Originality. Alot of movies in particular, (and some games) have gotten great scores due to one reason..............the NAME:

I.E: Final Fantasy A+
I.E: All the Mario Stuff
I.E: Metroid

Namesake is an easy way to get views, but original content REALLY needs a good shot in the arm. Noah and his box should get more credit due to its ORIGINALITY! Nuff Said'

Alien Hominid should win bar none........

Sky Boarder III v2, by the way, will be a Newgrounds Exclusive!!! Coming February 25th.

Newgrounds is THE BEST WEB SITE/COMMUNITY in the WORLD!

I have to say the Tutorial was outstanding to help those in need (I even emailed him to get help finding swift 3d). However, be that as it may, the TUTORIAL is merely a helping guide to create GAMES OR MOVIES in flash. Really what NG is all about. It certainly is arguably the BEST TUTORIAL ON NEWGROUNDS but really you look at it then look at Take to the Streets..........the work that games take (all original content, the pictures, the animation, the idea, the programming to make it all work) EASILY POST A 4 IF NOT 5 R. This is another semi-example of how easily games on newgrounds take some low scores. Again I say, GREAT TUTORIAL, BETTER GAME! GAV D WILL BE BACK, and I will give him 5's until he gets his just due...........man were you cheated.

Without question, "Take to the Streets" should be first place. I reviewed that thing when it was just entering the portal and saw that it wasn't getting its due respect!

YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! A TUTORIAL BEAT OUT EVERYTHING.......I MEAN IT WAS GOOD BUT NOT THAT DAMN GOOD!!!!

Can ANYONE RATE A GAME THIS GOOD!!! For gods sake, I think these movies are great but some of the games that come through this site a fantastic and they end up with 3.5's ...........you've got to be kidding me.........if anything games should be OUTSCORING movies by a huge margin just for the basis of how incredibly hard it is to make those things. From the AS to the Movie/Story elements to the Gameplay, to the Rewarding the Gamer, to the early work that needs to be done just to friggin START your game. I'm all for the good ratings of a good movie but really, GAMES ARE WAY WAY WAY HARDER TO MAKE THAN MOVIES and should be viewed as such.

Don't let getting front page prevent you from working harder!!!Keep focus and make better projects not just for front page but for your own skill to improve, you guys will end up being pretty damn good!

I would just like to thank everyone who has played Sky Boarder III and any of my games for the support. I really try to push the envelope with each entry and it is good to see that starting to show in ratings. I know it is WAY harder to get a great score if you have a game, so I truly appreciate the ratings and the reviews. Thanks NG audience!

Sincerely,
