In C++, how do you import some text from an external text file?

C++ question Posted July 3rd, 2007 in Programming

ummm......on i have dev-cpp and I'm making a small application, but the interface is really old school crappy looking, like the buttons are grey and the text boxes have a grey box around them. Unlike in, say Python GUI where the buttons and stuff are the same style as other applications on your computer. Anyhoo, i was just wondering if you could change that.

So for example, if the computer opens a new program, the program's data will be cached so that the next time you start it, it will open up faster. This also applies to applications and images viewed over the net through your browser.......

ok Thanks for that!

Java Posted June 3rd, 2007 in Programming

How/ where do i write Java. do i have to get a compiler for it?

Response to: ruby Posted June 2nd, 2007 in Programming

Thanks, but it still doesnt recognise the file.
SciTE is a text editor that came with ruby when i instaled it, you can run most programing languages from it if you have them installed.

yeah i did that but its still not recogniseing .rb files.
and is there suposed to be an actual ruby program or do you do it in SciTE??
