It seems to me like a guilt trip, the church gets you ,no brainwashes you, into believing your somehow bad or evil ie; a sinner.
I don't find it 'funny' that so many people believe this, I find it sad actually, that so many people are so insecure & easily led !.
I agree with you, and there is no forensic evidence which says that Jesus actually existed in the first place. And another strange fact is Mormon's believe Jesus was an American and not Middle eastern, which is actually quite confusion in its own right.

I personally was rased a roman catholic but I hated the fact that I had original Sin which made absolutely no sense to me at all, so I became a Athiest and denounced my catholic faith, because the bible is just a fairy tale book of lies, greed, bigotry and deception. That is my reason for liberating myself from organized religion
