Sink

When the faucet of time is turned
The life flows out
When the drain is closed
It slowly rises up

As it gets higher
It is sure to overflow
So long to fill, it took
So short a time to wait

It cannot go any farther
The edge - why so low
It is of no use on the ground
The life must be released

Looking back, it seems so fast
But dust has collected on the top
So long a time to fill
Yet so short a time to empty

Yes, it is metaphorical (I think I may have said simile before but that's not right)
I re-wrote it and I will post that in a minute.

A poem does not have to rhyme at all. In this poem, I am using a simile showing how ____ and ____ are related. It's not that hard to figure out.

The title was all I needed. You know, you are so sad I didn't even take time to think about what I was going to say! I didn't read a word you wrote. You are worth none of my time. Go die in a corner, loser.

How's that?

I don't believe you didn't stop to think about what you wrote, but it is a cool story nonetheless.

That is exactly what I meant, but I put it in a way that the average newgrounder could make an inappropriate or otherwise irreverent post about the topic at hand, knowing that one or two bumpkins would give me a more educated answer.

Go about your daily life as you would if this was not your situation. Don't ignore him and pretend like nothing happened, but don't dwell on it too long. because what good can that do? If his condition worsens then pray for him.

Have you ever just been going about your daily life when all of the sudden "SmAcK!" Everything just hits you in the face (not literally) and you are just like WOAH! And you just look at your hands and look around and wonder "How the heck did this HAPPEN?" (not focusing on a particular subject, just in general, wondering who you really are and how you got to be in your situation)
Cuz that just happened to me....

I am not sure if it was lucid or not, because I did not say 'I am dreaming' and I was not myself. I was someone totally different. I was a grown man. I am only 13. It was still strange, this is the first dream I have had that I can actually remember very closely.

Scariest Dream I have ever had! ... Posted January 2nd, 2010 in General

I had a dream so vivid, so real, I can swear to it that I could feel what was happening. It was a very, very long dream, and I am going to say what I can remember.

**This is going to sound like a story I made up but it was truthfully a dream I had just a few hours ago.

In this dream, I was a scientist, and by the year we were in Earth had developed many new technologies. I would be amazed at what seemed so normal in the dream. Me and another woman scientist were traveling underwater in a submarine to collect data about the reefs and fish of the area. I can't go into detail here, because I don't remember that much. I don't remember the global location of where this takes place either. I do remember that the underwater suits could supply us with days of oxygen. They were also, in a way, more portable under water.
As we went out in this part of the ocean, we noted that the water got down to a certain point and never got any deeper, which we thought was weird. This 'sandbar' went on for as long as we could see (the water was very clear). Because it was so shallow, we 'parked' the submarine and swam out along the sandbar. Very soon we came along some very old rusted gates under the water, and as soon as we passed them, the water seemed to have vanished. It was like there was an immediate cut-off of the water. Kind of like a wall. We took off our suits and continued walking in the dry rocky sand until we saw a gigantic city like structure, with ethereal castle like buildings and small moving 'people' all around. We moved to approach these dark skinned people, who seemed to be mumbling to themselves, but the way they stopped and looked at us scared us, so we avoided them and headed for the tallest castle. I remember that there were signs and writing almost everywhere, but we could not read them. As we approached the castle, we encountered 2 more male human beings, chained to a wall. They were both crying and one of them seemed to notice us and mouthed the words 'Get Away.' In an instant, one of the human like creatures walked up to the human and ripped his skin off his body in one swift movement (I recall a similar instance of this in a movie here warning graphical content!)
Anyways, the doors behind us closed as soon as we turned around, so we ran into the twisting corridors of the castle hoping that nobody saw us. Somehow, we managed to find a way out, and headed back to the submarine. When I got there and turned around, the girl was nowhere to be found. That was the last time I ever saw her. Years passed. Nobody believed me because I had no evidence. Many ventured out to try and find this lost place, but nobody succeeded. Because of the map I made, I was the only one who knew where it was. I didn't reveal it to anyone because I didn't want anyone to be put through what I experienced.

Because of the girl's disappearance, I was assigned a new partner to continue my line of work. He like many others had heard my story, but didn't seem too interested. Nevertheless, as soon as we got out there in the ocean collecting data, he pleaded. So we returned to this place. Taking the same route to the castle, nobody appeared to notice us. The heavy doors to the castle were closed, but we easily opened them, and shut them behind us. I looked over to the area where the two men were years before, but all that was there were 2 skeletons, still chained to the wall. We took a different route inside the castle this time, instead of the chain of coriddors on the right, we went up the stairs and to the left. It was very dark, and we felt our way through the long hallway. We soon found ourselves in what looked like a grocery store. It was full of shelves and products very similar looking to our own, but the writing was in a different language. The store seemed to have been closed, for it was very dark, but much lighter than the hallway so we could see a good ten feet in front of us. As I looked at the various boxes, I noticed that these people had a keen interest for heads. There was a picture of a head on almost everything in the store, and there was always blood pictured on the box. I decided to open one as my partner stood beside me, and we were shocked at the contents. In the box we opened, out poured a reddish, smelly, chunky, wet piece of meat. It was clear that the meat was rotten. Just then, the lights turned on. We headed back through the castle, and when we got out of the hallway we entered, we looked down to see that the castle doors were open, and the human like creatures entered. 2 of them in white suits unlocked the chains on the wall and dragged the skeletons out of the castle. We ducked behind a curtain in the shadows, and as we looked out, nobody seemed to be ascending the staircase. A few moments later, one of the human like creatures in a white suit dragged in a moving sack. With a muffled scream, I realized that he was chaining my female scientist partner from about 2 years ago, to the wall. She was naked, and she was shaking, I was sure it was her, but she was not talking. And so we waited, possible hours, days. Finally the creatures stop socializing and left, and the castle doors were closed. My friend was asleep so I left him there behind the curtain and went down the stairs and woke the girl. She started to scream, but I silenced her and soon she realized that it was me. I was not able to get the chains off of her wrists, but with our strength combined we pulled them loose from the wall. The wall cracked, and soon collapsed, making a noise co loud it woke my friend upstairs. He stood up, and looked down. Then his head fell off and rolled down the stairs. I realized that one of the creatures was behind him. It started walking down the stairs, and me and the girl quickly opened the large castle doors. We ran like we were mad, until we were completely out of breath. When we got to the submarine, we started it and went home. When we got there, I took her to my house and gave her some clothes and food. She was very shaken, and didn't talk much. After a few days, she told me what they did to her. I was shocked.

She was pregnant.

Bearing in mind most PMs may go ignored for some time, and urgent e-mails must have "Newgrounds - Admin Help" in the subject line if you want a response.

If you have done both of these, you can either wait, or re-send your request to Wade. Or if it becomes a real problem, request the submission be deleted so you can re-upload it with a new icon.

How should I reach him by email? Just wade@newgrounds.com or something?

I need an icon on my game changed due to some copyright thing, and it has been much over 2 weeks and Wade won't respond. (I can't change it because it is too popular a game and the system wont let me) I need it changed and I don't want to have to pay money to anyone. What should I do??????????

I did check the links. External Mirror link 3 seems to be the right one.

My avg sees this as a virus, and mirror 2 is a keygen (aka illegal) I do not trust the site you provided.

You still did not need to make a new thread and the only reason there was argument was because you accidentally said flash 8 to Cs3 instead of the other way around so make sure to check everything before creating a new thread or at least correct yourself quickly. You could download the Flash cs3 trial which Adobe should make available from their website. Hopefully that is a download for the Flash Cs3 trial.

If your problem is still unsolved you should say so in the old thread and wait for someone to help. As stated in the last comment you can only save a Cs3 file as a Flash 8 file if you have flash Cs3. In your last thread you also asked the question wrong and said "(from 8 to cs3)" which confused alot of people, so check what you've written before you post.

No my question was not answered, and I don't want to start another argument, which is why I started a new thread. Keep the confusions of the last one in the last thread. I just need someone with CS3 to convert it to flash 8 for me.
