That made me want to cry. I think my ears are bleeding a little.

It is always possible to improve.
Take some lessons. Learn how to breathe properly.
Often times I hit random notes until something sounds cool, or I will listen to something and try to harmonize with it in my head. That often leads to something original.

There is a master volume slider up at the top left corner. Have you tried adjusting that?
How does it sound when you export it and listen to it on your computer and not your phone? Maybe the problem is your speakers?
At 2/1/14 12:42 AM, Lethal-Input wrote: That is not easy... At least on my computer. On FL, the songs are always fairly quiet and I always have to export it to my phone first to see how it will really sound. It's so hard for me to get the volumes of everything right. An instrument will be fine in FL, but it'll be to loud when I export it and put it on my phone...
With one earphone? Are you saying you have headphones and only one side works, so you have to listen on your phone?
This happens to me during every upload.

Sounds good. Decent sound quality, good starter mic.
Something else you want to treat properly is your recording space. Check this out!

Audacity is a great, free program for editing your audio. I use it often.
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
If your price range is around the price of that item, I would ditch the bundle and go for a better microphone. You can always buy accessories separately.
Check out this USB microphone guide.

Always do research on any mic you want to buy. Learn a little about microphones here.

I'd love to participate as a voice talent. Please click my sig to check out my demo!
If anybody needs a teenage boy or a creepy old lady voice, I'm up for it.
If you're serious about this, I will definitely want to enter the contest. I'm looking at colleges right now!
You should post an audition on the Voice Acting Club. If you follow the guidelines for posting projects (and maybe give an example of your art) I am sure that you will get some auditions.

As for the demo it's hard for a demo to showcase everything that could be done. Also there is examples of work of things I VAed in under latest videos but ah well. I mean I might try to make a new demoreel but... I'll probably take the advice of seeking out things that are not on NG that are actual credit work and can lead to a career and all that. Heck I'd repreat what one person told me about NG as a whole but eh it's not nice so yeah... I won't.
I already did get at least one gig that will be a DVD credit in the near future. So I'll just see how that turns out, then I can add it to a demo reel or whatnot.
You are more likely to succeed if you have a positive outlook on things. This applies to everything. Do you think the things you have said here would make someone want to give you a voiceover role?
Nobody is going to go searching through your latest videos. If you want to pursue voiceover, you have to put forth a little effort. I checked out your profile, and I didn't see anything that suggests that you want to do voiceovers!
Credits are not going to lead to a career in voiceover. Sure, they are helpful, but being successful requires a lot of things.
Assuming that you have talent and are completely willing to learn and improve, you have to actively pursue voiceover work every day. This means marketing yourself and auditioning.
Obviously, as a beginner, you will not have a demo. It is best to have one produced after you have a good amount of experience. For now, you could at least replace your depressing profile news post with some links to projects you have voiced in.
Newgrounds is good for a lot of things. However, it is not good for finding voiceover work. The Voice Acting Club and Voice Acting Alliance are great places to find auditions. Those are the places where I started.
TLDR; "Should I even bother...?" That is up to you. Nobody is going to give you a voiceover career. If voiceover is what you REALLY want to do, you have your work cut out for you.
I would love to help out with this. I sent you a PM.
Thanks for adding us as a team. I didn't know Jeremy had a NG account at first.

Good luck in round 3. This is going to be good!

Let's dance!
1. Your attitude will not get you voiceover work.
2. No demo or direct links to examples of work on your profile. How do you expect anyone to find you?

Here is my round 2 submission. I worked really hard on it and I am very proud!
I like the idea of posting a picture that represents my piece. This image doesn't belong to me! Link.

Not so fast! ;)
Poor ZipZipper got Samulis'd (lost by 0.02 points in Round 1) this year... it has to happen to SOMEONE.
Wait.. so who are The Bardic Kings?
The Bardic Kings... Is that Bosa and samulis? Uh oh! I'm gonna have to stomp those guys! Muahahahaha!
I'm happy to have made it to the next round, even if it is because my opponent didn't submit. I hope for a worthy adversary in the next round!
