Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Those were the cartoons back in the day.

Essentially, although our generation remembers these, we have to remember the environment the younger kids grow up in. Destroy Build Destroy is considered awesome to them. That's the show for their generation.

Topic: Movies 'based on a true story'

Ever seen The Pursuit of Happyness?

Well, here's some revelations on the protagonist (Kevin Gardner-played by Will Smith) for you:

1. He did LSD.
2. He didn't know where his son was for 4 months.
3. The son in question was conceived when he was married to another woman.
4. He was arrested for domestic violence.

Lesson learned: even non-scary movies are guilty of placing "Based on a True Story" moniker on things that are obviously not so true.

Then again, they are movies, so we can't necessarily hate them.

What makes my topic so much worse than anyone elses? I think you guys failed to see my point that it shouldn't matter what year you signed up in.

I don't understand why it got locked at all, because I've read the rules and I have a really good understanding of how things work around here.

You know what? I'm an 09er, and I actually like it here. You apparently don't understand it here because you're stuck on a locked thread remark and why it's locked.

And read Poozy's remark on it. Makes a lot of sense.

Let it go.

Ummm...NO. As in NOT AN INSTRUMENTAL.

Now to answer the question at hand. In my opinion, it depends on the genre. If you're looking for stuff that shreds your face off, then go look for Dream Theater instrumentals. Erotomania and Stream of Consciousness are two good ones.
However, if you're looking for something more mellow, then look up a little band called Pelican. They're post metal, and all they do is instrumental.

Forum: Clubs & Crews

I'm back too.

So my girlfriend called a break on me, and although she said she wasn't going to talk to any males for about 48 hours (August 1st and 2nd), I tried calling her after they were up and she wouldn't answer, and her best friend told me that she needs more time. And I'm angry because now her best friend is relating messages through her to me, and it's really starting to anger me that she won't talk to me, and yet she still wants me at her birthday party (once again, related to me through her friend) and I have to wait until she's ready before we talk again. Is this fair? And what should I do?

Sorry buddy, no empathy from me. The last thing you should do: Try to entice some kind of romantic emotion from an ex, even as a joke. That can backfire.

Oh, and try posting here. See what they think. This is the official relationship crew on Newgrounds, so see what happens.

I'd play a melody with an ostinato for a bass line. Look for that. That'll help you learn to detach each hand so that they can play independently.

As for chords, do they give you Roman Numerals (I, II, iii, vi, etc.) or figured bass (6, 6/4 (except actually on top of each other))? I know music theory and how to play piano, so I can help.
