I, for one, think nostalgia threads should be allowed. The reasons you listed are a good enough reason, but unfortunately, most of the posts do not contribute to to the topic.

I think some NG users are spoiled due to the fact they can emulate games. I loved owning and playing a game. Now, you can download 2701_supermario.rar and that takes away from the experience.

Now, to the topic at hand, I think nostalgia threads should be allowed.
