Seriously man, no need to get all defensive, if you post a band, you have to expect to get some opinions about them, even if they're negative.

PenisClown, check out The Lamp Of Thoth, awesome trad-doom.

Perfect time to plug Lost Horizon. You may have tried them already. If not listen to that song. My favorite power metal band by a long shot even though I don't really listen to power metal much anymore.

Lost Horizon is amazing. Highlander (The One) is the best power metal song ever IMO.

Kidd, I listened to Ram-Zet, I loved them, thanks for the rec man.

This post made me lol, considering there is a band called Rivendell that was previously called Fangorn.

That is. Awesome. Really good stonery death/doom. A bit gimmicky though, with the whole witch thing, but the music is great.

Albums recently acquired:

Acid Witch - Witchtanic Hellucinations
Witchery - Dead, Hot and Ready
Witchcraft - The Alchemist
Skeletonwitch - Beyond the Permafrost
Witchfinder General - Death Penalty

Witches are fucking metal.

I'm just thinking of that scene from Smokin' Aces in which the Tremor Brothers are killing people to the sound of "The Ace Of Spades". Awesome !!!

I'm a big fan, it's my favourite band. Most of their stuff is worth it, I'd start with the classic trio (Overkill, Bomber and Ace of Spades), and then get Inferno, Iron Fist and Bastards. Get No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith as well, it's a really good live album.

I love those bands. Liked your song as well, especially the acoustic parts.

I don't really listen to much else, except for semi-BM like Windir(black/viking), Drudkh(black/folk?) or Sigh(black/avant-garde) Check those three out though, they're awesome.

As for deathcore, just look on a Myspace toplist or something. The only reason you should listen to deathcore is to get scene chicks.
