what are your time limitations?

About 6 months (left). I can see why you'd think that, but Apple has approved games/apps much crappier than this one. We've already filled out applications and are working on another app at the moment. We just can't make a GAME app.

At Urbn: We can make an App, just not a Game app.

@ Jon: Since we pay 30-40k per year, I don't see how that's odd for a 20 student course (20 per year). We've had more money to play with for group projects.

Anyone here have any know how on developing Ipod touch apps? If so, I'm looking to fund a small game for a school project. If all goes well, it'll be added to the App store and all involved can split profits equally, but in general, this is for my %80 average in computer technology.

My group has up to about $1000 to invest (school limit). It's not a project to develop an app for Touch Pod, but a project to develop something computer related (I won't go in to details of the limits and restrictions given).

Thanks!

PS: We already have some simple game ideas, and money upfront. Also, a graphics person for the icon and possible music people for the sounds,

Thanks guys!

Hahaha while typing that post, I didn't even think about that whole buzz without drunk deal.

I write as well. I'm willing to write for free of course, if anyone was interested.

Sorry for the double post again, I don't know how to edit. (If it's possible).

I started working on a comedic police screenplay, which could easily be made in to a flash oriented video. I can show an example of it, or any other of my scripts by request. I really think these projects would be great with the right artist.

If you think you can do a decent job, I'll do some rewrites/editing and come up with a short storyline you can try with.

Ok, I have no idea what category this would fall under, so if this is wrong please let me know.

I write screenplays and scripts. Mostly (99.9%) comedy, and would love to find a home for them. I have NO skill when it comes to Flash, and lack the time to learn any of it. I do however have enough scripts for 25-30 short flash movies, and can write rather quickly. The ideas are simple.

If you want a sample, PM me and I'll gladly upload some work. I just want some of my work to see the light, and for that to happen I either need to learn how to act, or hand it to someone with some flash talent.

Thanksya.

In your opinion, what are the best Western RPG's?

In my eyes, Morrowind is the best there is, followed by Fallout 2.

Can do deep opera like voices, very similar to "Cleveland" from Family guy, and can probably impersonate him perfectly. Can do several rough accents, and have a clear voice. Can do comic black man, Barry White style voice/singing.

PM me for demo.

Does this ever happen to you: You place something in one place, you come to get it... It's gone, but you remember and are 100% sure of where it is, but it isn't there. Well, this just happened to me with my cellphone, and it is disappointing. I know, I know... "Call it"... Well, I would, only the battery is dead.

I don't know why I'm posting this, boredom perhaps. No one cares, and that is the key.

May I suggest the Axiom 49?

This I didn't know. Thanks for the link as well. So, do I need any specific specifications? Or just a high end PC? Also, would I need any different programs than what I use now? (Cubase sx3 and an array of plugins)

I went to this store around where I love called "StageSound" and played around with keyboards for a few hours.. I probably can't afford that price, but I can start saving up now that I know. You're right though, I should probably look around a bit more. Thanks!

Saying that not getting offended makes me less of a man is just moronic.

Of course that's not what I'm saying. I just think that it's ridiculous, not to mention racist that Tyler Perry can portray white people on his TV show as morons and crack addicts, while all the doctors, lawyers, etc are black. But on a white show/movie I feel writers are afraid to do the same to black people.

So anyway, I was cookin' up some bacon this morning when I realized how much I want to strangle Tyler Perry to death. I don't think I have to ask people to agree with the following opinion:

He is a racist moron, that writes comedy that can only make an ape laugh. Interpret as you wish.

For the record, I'm not a racist. I just think white people (Internet aside) are to scared to man up to this whole racism issue.

About the thread that was deleted... I guess not everyone has seen that Tyler Perry show on TBS, the "I think I swallowed my car keys..." is from that show. So I didn't see it as spam, if that was the reason the thread was deleted.

I'm sick of sampled Drums. I hear them, I use them (despite my horrible audio). Does anyone here know of any decent drum machines/sound fonts/drumular?

Right now I use Redshift Drumular, it's decent.
