Response to: Broken Age delayed to 2015... Posted 3 weeks ago in Video Games

At 12/9/14 06:29 AM, kmau wrote: Oh boy.. the article you linked explains exactly why the delay happens. The game will hit alpha stage by the end of the year, which means it will be playable but unpolished in all categories. They obviously still have work to do and care about delivering a finished product - which to them is more important than releasing the product on time.

I know why its being delayed however at least when it has come to people who bought the game after the kickstarter they have been incredibly stingy with letting us know whether our money has even been going into act 2 or not, is it really that much to ask for a release date and not have to delay it because they keep putting the project aside for 3 other early access titles? Also if they cared about releasing a finished product they wouldn't have released the game incomplete in the first place.

WTF DoubleFine!? You specifically said this wouldn't happen! What on earth are you doing that requires you to delay the game further? Why don't you just tell us exactly why it keeps getting delayed, you claim its to perfect the finale but according to news sources act 2 overall is done apart from the ending. I don't hate double fine I simply want them to stop being shady. Doublefine do you want to become EA or Ubisoft? if not then be more transparent about whats being done with the money we give you to give us a "complete game".

So your just going to ignore an issue that concerns gamers getting the respect from gaming journalists that we deserve?
We've already exposed the fact that gaming journalism is full of bribery and nepotism. There's nothing more that can be done. It doesn't matter what we do or say to the gaming journalists. They won't give gamers respect until they spread their cheeks and take their agendas. All publicity is good publicity to them. The best thing we can do now is deprive them of an audience.

That might be a good idea, however we've shown since we haven't backed down their getting angrier and angrier and keep exposing more things making them look bad. Its gotten to a point that they fear us since we've been able to get their advertisers to pull advertising not by ignoring them but actually voicing our concerns every time they try to slander gamers and try to be professional victims.

Nah I think the social justice warriors and feminists are to scared of InternetAristocrat to do something like that. Im thinking of trying to keep people updated on gamergate but usually if its something really out there, i still need to make the video about how i exposed dina for lying about what she did to backers of the mighty number 9 kickstarter that support #gamergate.

I've thrown in some recent stuff that i've made about, but I would also like to see you guys do the same and post what you can find on the matter so we discuss everything going on with gamergate at the moment, i think its an imported topic for us gamers to discuss, lets see what comes of this thread.

I think I have only seen around 50% of the submissions though. It's crazy how many people entered. I had no idea it was such a big turn out.

Same here, I remember when I last did this back on 2012 and now twice as many animators made it in, hopefully this time around I make it into the first round, This would help me greatly.
