Topic: Greatest guitarist ever?

Posted: 11/12/09 03:02 AM

Forum: General

My friends who play guitar usually argue for Buckethead, Steve Vai, or Joe Satriani. I always point out that every guitarist I've ever met has at least half of Metallica's catalog memorized, so their vast influence on guitar rock in my opinion must count for something.
Which would count for Hetfield not Hammet by the way because he writes it all.

Thats funny as shit, I never got that part. How does shooting yourself in the cheek cure schizophrenia?

They probably have segregated proms because kids are always having sex with one another at proms and they don't want white people and black people having sex with one another because when you mix chocolate and vanilla ice cream it usually looks and tastes more like chocolate right? Perhaps an evolutionary defense mechanism?

I saw it man, I saw and I knew. It was like a unified theory. It was a glimmer of nirvana, the alpha and the omega, the fucking truth man. And anyone can see it if they know how to look, and we all already know it anyway.

I was a goth for a while. Don't do it. It gets old fast.

What you need to do is incorporate the aspects of the culture or fashion or whatever that compliment and jive well with who you really are. We're all a bunch of fucking snowflakes after all right? No two goths are the exact same and any goth that becomes one for any other motive other than because it makes him fell more like his true self is doing for the wrong reasons anywhow.

You do what you want to do but you stay true to yourself, if you trade yourself in for what others want then you've betrayed yourself. and all that bla blah balh.

I know where you're coming from. So many time I read through an entire front page of worthelss threads full of worthelss crap, or try to make a serious point that gets turned into a pile of half eaten shit somehow, but there is still always a core group of interchanging members who tow the entire bundle for the rest of these feebs. People that make this BBS worth coming to. And they are the reason I've been posting for the last 5 years.

The whole "You're on newgrounds everybody is a nerd/virgin" thing is an untrue steriotype, the regulars on this website are for the most part a realintellegent and worthwhile collection, and thats why this is the first forum I ever got into and the only one I've ever stuck with at all.

Well currently the government makes more money fining and prosecuting pot smokers and feeding the prison industrial complex by persecuting peaceful people excerising their personal freedom to enjoy the worlds most harmless drug than they would taxing the legal sale of marijuan to begin with. Thats the whole root of the current marijuana problem in the US. If you ask me, a devout pothead by the way, I'de rather pay a little more to get a bag legaly at a store, then perpetuate the boldface injustice that current marijuana laws inflict on me and my completely undeserving peers.

A half and half shower, a halfpot of coffee with Irish cream and a couple smokes, a quick jog, and an Ipod set on you'r pump music. Due to time constraints you have to figure out exactly which ones can stay and go.

Oh and sit ups, you break your thighs and abs early and the rest of is just wide awake for some reason.
