Some of you don't seem to realise that random(10) will produce an interger between 0-9 not 0-10 or 1-10. I also heard you're not supposed to use random() for some reason, probably BS though.

It has plenty of fun games STFU. The graphics are certainly better than PS2 (even if you consider it a Gamecube wiht motion controls) and first party titles show that the graphics can rival the other consoles, not in polygon count but in style.

Exactly. I did that half the time when mine was vertical. Now I have it horizontal and I keep the chargestation on top as to not waste any space.

I'd like to point out that many laptops don't have the numpad. Also I think wasd works fine as long as the arrows aren't used for anything at all. If I played the game and the arrow key shot a missile or something I'd be really confused for minute. I'd prefer arrows to move and zxcv for actions; that way you'd have a finger for each action and traditional arrow movement. It's sometimes difficult to find wasd without looking but the arrows are in a big open space.

Tell him you like his drumming, but you like his tamborine playing ability much better. Anyone can drum but it takes a true artiste to play the tamborine. If he's a moron it will work.

The real problem with the Youtube community (aside from lacking moderation) is that it's so big. Newgrounds is a somewhat large site, one of the top 1000 visited sites I believe I heard that somewhere. But we're relatively small in terms of people who come here everyday. If you make an ass of yourself on NG people will remember and shun you, thus removing the asses. On Youtube there's almost complete anoniminiminimity, no one will remember you so you can be a complete dick.
I like this community. On NG to submit content you need to have a specific program, but with Youtube you can just take a file and upload it without changing it. Flash is expensive so not many people are using it to make poops, windows moviemaker comes with every PC so lots of people have the ability to make, and I use the term "make" loosely, content.
Also there's the Audio Portal, somewhat more similar to Youtube. People steal things and upload them, but here they get caught. Uploading a video you saw somewhere else is difficult when you need to make it a .swf, specifically for those who don't have flash.
The system of blamming really improves the quality of content. Sure, a lot of people circumvent it, but it's much better than no filter at all. When someones Flash gets balmmed but there were a few comments form people who liked it they are inspired to try harder next time and make a better poduct. When someones Youtube video gets flamed but a few people like it they just make more of the same crap.

This is how I break down Youtubes videos:
90% Poops, screamers, video-audio mixes, videoblogs, VG gameplay footage, and other garbage.
9% Blatantly stolen things, form TV and elsewhere on the internet.
0.9% Original content, little shows and such, Jackass imitators.
0.1% Good original content.

So that works out to 1/1000 videos that are both original and worht watching.

What the last guy said. It's mostly just for little kids, like 5 and 6 year olds who can't hold on to save their own lives. I've never had the Wiimote unintentionally fly out of my hand, and I don't use the wrist strap because I never "game" for hours at a time. I get up and get a drink, whatever, so I'd have to take the wrist strap off and on all the time or carry the Wiimote around like dinkus all day.
Those bubble jackets things are just ridiculous. I can't imagine an adult using one. And the warings saying to use that safety crap are like when a commercial for booze has "Please drink responsibly," in it. They don't really care if you do, they just have to say it for liability purposes.
