Im making a simple webpage for a course which shows the diversity of css and the styles it can bring. Ive managed to google my way a few properties to give my style some form but I am exhausted myself on two problems.

1. I need to center the entire contents of a holder/wrapper <div> to the dead centre of a page regardless of screen resolution etc.

So far I have managed to centre it only at the top of the page, this was done with

#main{	margin-left:auto;
		margin-right:auto;
		width:50em;      }

Im asking if someone could clarify on expanding this for me.

2. My second problem is most likely even simpler. I want to centre the contents (in this case a line of text and a small picture) in the centre of a <div>.

Again in this case I can only do it horizontally with

text-align: center;

but vertically it still appears at the bottom because the picture is right beside the text.

That's just Street Fighter 2, there are numerous iterations in the alpha and III series.

Why did Capcom making a new fighting game addition to a current series actually suprise you? Is Street Fighter IV your first Street Fighter?

Also it adds 8 new characters. That's pretty big in fighting game standards. No these can't come out as DLC because you cant add characters to a fighting game without unbalancing a whole load of stuff.

The PC is home to a large number of RTS games, my problem with the genre isnt exactly the gameplay but the settings and themes often used. Starcraft, Warcraft, Total War and Command & Conquer are some good examples of the RTS genre but I grow tired of them.

What I am looking for is an RTS game which (as the title states) features near/present date technology. Forgive me if I sound ignorant but I can't think of any notable titles which use our time. However, I am aware of World in Conflict which happens to my favourite in the genre. Is anybody else interested in the idea?

I would be happy to learn about similar games to World in Conflict. And no, WW2 doesn't count. I was really excited for RUSE and the new square enix rts until I learn't that they are both WW2 games.

Also note, I'm speaking about the RTS style in which you commant units and not the broader picture like in Hearts of Iron. Man I would kill for a modern setting Total War game.
