dude, i basically gave you the solution, just translate it into coding. This is on the enemy's head movieclip (the head movieclip is inside the enemy movieclip)

_rotation = 180-Math.atan2(_root.player._x - _parent._x , _root.player._y - _parent._y)*180/Math.PI; //I didn't check, just play around with it
gotoAndStop(_parent._x > _root.player._x ? 1 : 2); //if the statement is true, it'll go to frame 1, where the head is turned left, else to frame 2

I didn't check if it worked, it probably won't, because I never get anything right on the first try. Just play around with it.

The inconsistency occured because in some instances flash didn't finish loading the buttons.

hi, this is really frustrating, I'd appreciate some help -_-

On my game's main menu in my swf, I have 5 buttons. When i run the swf from my computer (run from fla, or launch from desktop) it works fine. But I recently put it on my website (hosted the swf on my website), it starts giving me trouble. Every time I refresh the page something different happens! In most cases, some of my buttons disappear.

For instance, when I preview my page, the first button is missing, and then I refresh the page, and the first button appears, but a second disappears.

THIS MAKES NO SENSE WHAT-SO-EVER! wtf? lol.

Do I need to fix something in the publishing setting, I don't get this at all. There is no reason for it not to work in dreamweaver, when it works fine in flash.

i have a hard time believing that you made those sprites. But if you say you did, ok then...

You people shouldn't be giving him such a hard time. Firstly, why the hell would he need to learn AS? He said he's not a programmer, he's a designer. And him not having any movies doesn't mean SHIT.

If you made those sprites, than the game has potential. And by MADE I mean, you actually drawing every single frame of that, not putting created sprites together.

quick question - some people I've showed the game to said they were overwhelmed with 85 turrets. They started freaking out b/c they wanted to try them all out. So they said I should make some lockable, and they are unlocked after you get a certain score in a certain mode.
