I haven't made much on my movie latley cause I doesn't feel motivated enough, I'm thinking of scrapping the whole thing and start making a game or something instead. But I suck at coding so I would need and actionscripter :P

I would actually use the line tool cause it usually looks smoother and cleaner that way, but try both and see what you like best.
And for the walking, look at how a real person walk and try to animate it like that.
