Response to: Making A Phoenix Wrong Flash- Ideas Posted December 28th, 2006 in Game Development

Ok, let me get this straight. You are going to make a movie with graphics you didn't make, and with soundsclips you didn't make. So basically the only thing left for you is to find soundclips, but now you want us to do that?

Seriously, how lazy can one get. Phoenix wrong was only slightly good the first time around, stop making them already!

How about drawing em? If you're to lazy, google it or something.

Link to great flash tutorials.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't asking for tutorials :P
lol, read the post.

I went to the 30 day free link- and it says I already used it?!

That's weird, are you sure you haven't? Maybe you did it a long time ago?
Anyway, if you have another computer, you could download the trial to that computer instead. I did that when my first trial expired.

Response to: Need to see if bugs pop up. Posted December 27th, 2006 in Game Development

I couldn't spot any bugs :)

The graphics are stylish and the engine seems pretty solid. Continue to put time and effort in it and you'll have yourself a really good game.

Ok, but don't you think an actuall master should start the collab then?
I'm not saying that you suck or anything, but seriously, from the looks of you submissions, you don't seem like a flash master.

I think it would be easier for everyone if you'd provide an example of what you want to achive, it might be a little hard to help you otherwise :P

Response to: Flash 9: Awesome stuff Posted December 27th, 2006 in Game Development

That looks really cool. I especially like that ray-casting thingy :P

Response to: My first flash Posted December 27th, 2006 in Game Development

That's actually very good for a first flash. Not much to comment on yet though. But adding some movment to the hair would be good (As said earlier^).

Otherwise, I can really think of anything specific to improve. Keep working. :)

I'm not. I am, however, rather suprised to see to find this topic in the flash forum section. This belongs in general.

I expect him to be perfect, like bots should be. :(

He's probably drunk or something

put the music in a movieclip and it should be ok.

Response to: Flash Question : Answer for Prize! Posted December 25th, 2006 in Game Development

Personally, I don't like anime. And even if I did, it would be impossible to decide which is best, it's all a matter of taste. Opinions and that sorta stuff, you know. ;)

Response to: i want to help Posted December 25th, 2006 in Game Development

The point of the flash forum is pretty much that newbies can start topics asking things when they need help from someone, not the other way around. Besides (No offense), from the look of your post you don't seem to be the most experienced user yourself.

Response to: Rpg Idea Posted December 23rd, 2006 in Game Development

If you could pull the whole 3D thing off and make an awesome engine, the game would be great.
It seems to very advanced though and you pretty much have to be a master actionscripter with loads of experience.

But yes, it would be very cool if you succeded.

Response to: Flash Collab? Posted December 23rd, 2006 in Game Development

You need a BA of atleast 3.00 to start a collab.

Response to: file size Posted December 23rd, 2006 in Game Development

I don't think that the filesize get that much bigger if you use a lot of symbols. And I don't think you should worry so much about filesize anyway, just animate your movie, and in the end if it's too big, so what? If it's good enough you'll be allowed to submit it anyway if you ask Tom.

said not to listen to muisic if you wont listen to music your work will be much better

That kinda depends though, if your doing FBF or something else when timing is important it might not be as good if you listen to music, cause your timing might get a little off. Although if your doing some "Automatic process" like coloring or something like that, it doesn't really matter, I think.

Response to: My First Flash! Worthy? Posted December 23rd, 2006 in Game Development

It's good and will pass judgement. I would suggest that you maybe stick to one style though. Right now you're using both the linetool and the brush tool, which rarely look very great IMO.
Maybe add some more inbetweens to the FBF parts and just clean up your lines.

Good job though. :)

Response to: First FBF in a while. Posted December 23rd, 2006 in Game Development

Pretty cool, nothing too impressive, but it's good for what it is. Next step might be to try to animate some fullbody characters.

Response to: Advice on the work Posted December 22nd, 2006 in Game Development

I can't think of anything specific to improve, good job.
