Heh, that monitor is super sexy. ^^

It's quite interesting seeing everyones workspaces, unfortunately I don't have a digital camera and my webcam doesn't work so I can't show mine (Not that it's anything terribly exciting anyway)

That would be very immature, to hate it. I don't think that people will act like you say, but who knows, the voters are weird sometimes.

Anyway, everything looks swell this far, especially Luis's and Supi's. :)

Response to: Pico Day 2007 Posted February 22nd, 2007 in Game Development

I'll try to start early with my movie this year and make something good. But I gotta come up with a good idea first, I think I'll probably make something with Nene, but I dunno.

Response to: Independent Games Festival Posted February 20th, 2007 in NG News

Omg, I look forward to Pico Day, last years was awesome, even though I didn't submit anything.

Response to: Tom Fulp + Dan Mcneely, Thanks You! Posted February 19th, 2007 in Game Development

God, I'm jealous., I want Angreh faic stickers too >:(

Wow, only one submission with a score over 3.60. That's like really low.

Rtil's was awesome.

Epic Flash

I can't really decide which of my movies that is the best, I haven't made a serious movie for ages.
The one with best score is the fifth -Apple- episode, but I'm not really proud of that one. Hopefully, I'll release an epic, awesome, super great flash soon... But that's not very likely :P

No, you fail. Madness has one of the simplest character designs ever, but you got it wrong. The body is wrong and the shape of the head is totally off. The lightning is wrong, too shiny.

Specifi yourself. What kind of effects? What will you use them for? I'd suggest you animate them yourself, if that's what you were wondering. :P

Response to: Which Style should I use? Posted February 17th, 2007 in Game Development

Left one, definitely.

Response to: Needing Artist for a game! Posted February 17th, 2007 in Game Development

Do you seriously expect a lot of people to get interested when you provide almost no information about the game. Show us what the game is like, or atleast explain the idea and story of it. You should also tell us what kind of art you want. And so on.

Response to: Any potential? Posted February 16th, 2007 in Game Development

First of all, the preloader doesn't seem to work correctly.

Potential? Yes, definitely. Though the graphics could use some work and all the AS doesn't seem to be entirely in order. But keep working and polish on it.

Response to: Which One is Better? Posted February 16th, 2007 in Game Development

I think the left one is better, but both are good so it's not that much of deal IMO.

American Idol

At 2/15/07 01:29 PM, jmtb02 wrote: I tried to watch it, got 15 minutes in, and gave up. Does anyone actually watch this show, or the equivalent overseas?

I dunno, I know I don't. The swedish version (It's called "Idol", creative huh?) is really boring IMO. Not even the auditions are fun, the judges are assholes, they're all wannabe Simon and think they're really and funny cool when they say mean things to the contestants. Just stupid.

Cuboy and Valentin '29 were my favorites of the week, never been a fan of Super Mario Z or whatever it's called.

Ah, that explains it, advising everyone to zero all AG games doesn't sound like Tom, or any other admin for that matter.

Personally, I don't like scenes at all and I don't ever use them, but it's a matter of taste I guess. I prefer to have a clear overview of everything so I do a lot of work on the main timeline.

Anyway, I'd suggest doing what you feel most comfortable with, clearly it's not the same for everyone.

I'm not very organized so I never label my layers and sometimes not even the symbols, but I guess that could be a good thing to do.

Cats

Lol, I don't really like cats. Mainly because I'm allergic to them, but also cuz they're damn boring they just walk around and eat and other boring stuff. They have creepy eyes too. <.< >.>

Response to: Tell me if you guys like it. Posted February 12th, 2007 in Game Development

The art was ok, kinda looked traced at some parts though. Shading could be better and more obvious, and some highlights wouldn't hurt.

Response to: Game Engine - Ideas? Posted February 12th, 2007 in Game Development

First of all, I know it doesn't have anything to do with the engine, but for gods sake get rid of the fucking filters! They hurt my eyes! You don't have to put filters on everything freakin' object. :P

Ok, In my opinion it's pretty boring so far. These type of games have been done soooo many times before and if you want it to be succeful you have to add a diffrent twist to the gameplay.
So I'd say, come up with something really clever or scrap the whole thing. :/

And yeah, fix the hittesting too, like the others said.
