Best Superhero

Burnt Face Man of course, seriously, no one beats him. Although Spider-Man is kinda cool too.

Response to: Flash Theory: Is Tweening Useless? Posted May 20th, 2007 in Game Development

Tweening is absolutely not useless, it saves you a lot of time and can look really good if used right. Though I can agree with you that using tweens for character animation might look a little bit unnatural and robotic sometimes.

Oh man, this hag gotten pretty huge. I read about this in a swedish newspaper. :O

I think it's pretty tasteless, but it shouldn't be taken down IMO.

I don't know much about my ancestry at all, but my relatives are Swedish for at least 3 generations back, I think.

Hmm, a really low-scoring day. Kind of annoys me that 3.40 submissions can win awards when I have had like 7 or something 3.60 submissions without getting a single award. Oh well :/

The daily feature was good though.

I agree with the others, that loop got pretty annoying and the whole thing was rather slow. Also there wasn't much animation to it at all, just a couple of tweens. And I didn't quite get what was going on.

But as said, make it more interesting.

Response to: What you think>? Posted April 1st, 2007 in Game Development

To be honest, that is completely useless and pointless. I seriously don't see why anyone would like to use this more than like 10 seconds. I wouldn't even call it a game.

I guess the coding is ok though, but the design needs some work.

Sorry if I sounded rude or anything but I'm kinda tired :P

Fast-paced music? :P

Just look up some techno kinda stuff in the audio portal. You'll probably find something good.

But it was very dissapointing. And short. And boring.

I fully agree, it almost feels like a waste of such animation talent, the script is just weird and not entertaining at all. And the voiceacting for Throwback is pretty terrible. :/

Music

I always listen to music when I'm at the computer, unless I'm watching flash or stuff like that. I read about that "unplug" thing in 'animators survival kit' too, but I don't care, I do what feels good for me and listening to music is inspirational and relaxing.

Response to: animators, who's the best Posted February 24th, 2007 in Game Development

It's very hard to say who's is the best animator, they're so many great people and different styles. Buuut, anyway here's my five cents.

Dan Paladin: Lovely, original design, simple yet effective. He do some amazing effects and explosions too.

Luis: Great, clean style and super awesome FBF.

Adam Phillips: Obvious reasons :P

David Firth: He might not be the most technically advanced animator, but he's really creative and the mood he manages to create with all his movies are just stunning.

The Weebl: He doesn't create beautiful environments or epic storylines, nor does he make intense, advanced FBF fight scenes or long exciting adventures. But he makes me laugh everytime, his short loops and stupid jokes are just genious.
