I've noticed a few of these things as well. i didn't go to far into the differences because a lot of that stuff i don't use. but yes major stability upgrade. And opening/saving/closing is lightning quick.
I still use Flash 8 for most animation, but it eventually get brought into CS6(now CC) before being exported for post. And i think my Favorite version to date was either Flash 5 since it's the first one i used, or MX 2004 Since it was the one i used most. and it was just before the attack of the filters O_O
I've never felt like evaluating the new iterations of flash since all the CS's have been more of the same, but CC seems like a major leap compared to 5.5-6.
Oh wow i definitely remember when Disorderly first came out. Definitely defined NewGrounds as the website to show your mother.
I'll give what i can and i'm looking forward to this!

Got hyped from the latest Smash Bros footage and wanted to try animating something dynamic, as I usually animate fairly static scenes. Let me know how it turned out.
that was fun, but maybe moved around too much. it gets disorienting at parts

felt good. maybe the second swing of the leg should be a bit slower than the first. feels a bit awkward going at the same time

enjoy
you could get a much better feel for impact if you added some anticipation to the punch, rather than just making the whole action in 3 frames
not everything happens as it should. and score hardly ever reflects effort. just keep at it. p-bot will eventually pick up on you and get you some watchers
i actually really liked that. i'd say clean up your drawings some more and make your animations move more. you're obviously putting a lot of work into this but you feel like you're holding yourself back as well

your body is going through changes. You'll have hair where you didn't have hair before. and once soft things will become hard. Share this with your new friends. Share your warm insides with your new found mates.

there's a reason i still use flash 8 for most animating. i'm digging how fast everything is. especially launch time. yeah most things they removed were useless in the first place. and i'm guessin they're showing up in that animate edge program whatever the hell that is.
absolutely no swf importing. welp, there goes a big strike against it.
so object level undo was always user set. it's not now? or the guy didn't know how to change it? anyway it's 70% done. i'll post what i think tomorrow or when i get time to play with it more

It's faster, lighter, darker (in color), 64 bit, smoother, etc-er.
i can upgrade through work at any point but was hoping someone would know if it's a buggy mess or smooth sailing
i already know i won't be using the dark ui if i can help it. very unfavorable move of adobe products imo. i'm a fbf guy and a movieclip manipulator so i don't think any removed stuff will bother me greatly
ooh thanks much i'll read his blog. i'm having a hard enough time just downloading the trial through adobe's very awesome not totally unnecessary creative cloud -_-

exposition does not make a good story. read the MC wiki. you'll get a huge backstory, character traits, and plot details, without a character uttering a single line of dialogue.

let's assume AS 2.0 for ease of use.
in the first frame of the main timeline is a movieclip that loops the first animation. no on the first FRAME's actions, you'd insert
stop();
now you have the button on the first frame, and it's it's actions:
on(Press){
play();
}
and from frames 2 onward is the animation of the inevitable outcome.
now on a new layer you can drag the sound you want played throughout and in the properties panel set the sound to "Event"
that should do you what you're looking for

i use a lifebook tablet so i'm drawing on screen, but you definitely need to have a sense of connection between your hand and what you need
i'm sure they don't compare to a cintiq, but sensitivity and feel was close to my intuos3. i mean it's on screen drawing for under $300, it's got a full wacom pen, 512 lvls of sensitivity in tip and eraser. 2 button rocker. and it doesn't have to be tethered to a pc like a cintiq so bring it wherever you go!
