Next Super-hero/comic- book Movie Posted August 13th, 2007 in General

If it was up to you, which character or which comic would you like to see star in their own movie? I don't mean just American comics or super-hero comics, any kind. Newspaper comics, European comics, Japanese comics, whatever.
I'd personally like to see a movie about the characters Deadpool and/or Taskmaster (links provided because I know most people haven't heard about them), mostly because they're both mercenaries, with Deadpool being a little more of a hero and Taskmaster being more of a villain, so their could be some sort of conflict.
But who'd you like to see, or would you rather see none at all?

It's pretty good. Doesn't look that bad. I don't think your scanner hampered it or anything.

Poor guy.

Ooooh...that's harsh. Especially if his parents knew it would sound awkward, then that would just be plain cruel.

I hope it's renewed. And even if it's not done immeadeatly, than they'd probably do it eventually.

Wait, Madness has characters!?
I thought it was just Jesus, the Clown, the assassin, and the sheriff....oh those are characters....
I dunno. The Assassin who never dies or Jesus. They both kick ass in it.

Hmmm...never noticed that. But killing him with a Banshee was fun...even though that took a while too...

Hey, don't let these assholes get to you. They're just trolling for trouble. As fucking amazing as that pic you did at 12 was, it's obvious you've gotten better from the other pictures. I've seen other kids who were, at that age, also doing incredibly good work too. Some people are just excellent from birth. I always loved to draw, but I was never the BEST at it, I just tried. All these pricks saying you stole it are either too dumbfounded to believe it and have never seen anyone that good that young, or they're just jealous.

Lol, I remember Ninja Gaiden. I had so much trouble with all the bosses during the first play-through, and then when I did it again, they were all easy as hell, and I didn't lower the difficulty or anything, I just got better.

Response to: Most pain-in-the-arse boss fight? Posted July 29th, 2007 in General

Tartarus from Halo 2 was annoying as hell on Legendary mode. In fact, the only way I managed to beat him was by managing to sneak a Banshee in, and even then all these idiots kept blowing it up.
Also many of the bosses in the games based on the second and third Spider-Man movies were really aggravating, but that was mostly because I thought they were pretty crappy games anyway, at least, when compared to the first movie-based one.
Several bosses in strategy-RPG games like Disgaea are REALLY hard too. The most powerful boss in the first Disgaea game was (at his least powerful) level 4000. O_O

Well, as silly as my last name is, I'm just thankful my first name isn't "Richard." Can you imagine being called Dick Cummings?
But my mom was actually considering naming me "Toast" when I was in the womb. "Toast Cummings" wouldn't exactly be a very dignified name either.

Yeah, that was disappointing. They were all talking about how they would have all the characters who ever appeared, but they were all just in the angry mob, and most of the minor characters only provided a few brief laughs. Plus, I didn't Kang or Kodos anywhere even though they were in the credits. No Maude Flanders either or Bleedin' Gums Murphy. Yeah they're dead, but they could've been seen in a flashback or as ghosts or something if they were going to get real thourough about them appearing.

Anyways, it's pretty good, I'm not a Sonic fan, but you should try darkening in the black parts so it looks better. I used to be scarred of shading things in or making shadows, and now I can't live without it.

Well are you related to the poet? Because in that case, that's sweet. Otherwise that's pretty gay.

No, but I was related to John the Red Comyn, a Scottish hero/patriot/clan-leader. It would be cool if I was related to e.e. cummings though.

Also the old way of spelling/pronouncing my name is "Comyn" which definitly sounds and looks cooler, but I'd keep my name as "Cummings" soley for the lulz.

I loved it, but my step-dad whined about it because it "was making the environment like it was a joke" or something else stupid like that, but he admitted to liking it later.
And I doubt they killed Dr. Nick. Characters in the Simpsons have suffered so many things far worse than that. I mean, Bart gulped down antifreeze in one of the early episodes, and nothing happened.
Plus, they're cartoons. They're virtually semi-immortal or something. How many times has Tom gotten blown apart or apparently killed by Jerry only to come back?

Response to: Awesomest Villain. Ever. Posted July 28th, 2007 in General

Dr. Doom. He's the classic super-villain and tons of characters after him were inspired by him, like Darth Vader, who's also great. Magneto and Sephiroth are also good in there own ways, but Magneto's intentions are usually to stop the oppression of his brethren while Sephiroth was just screwed over due to his birth and what he was made to be.
Hannibal Lecter is an incredible villain as well, mostly because he isn't some super-powered being, and he's more like-able then most of the people who want to catch/kill him. Voldemort from Harry Potter is also a great villain.
But I'm sticking with Doom as the best villain ever.
