(I totally understand, you see if Musashi had not fallen into darkness there would have been no way for Gattsu to defeat him. Miyamoto's rage and ego after centuries of being under the influence of the Dark Avatars had got the best of him, his skills faltered when he gave into his ego and enjoyed intimidating people. As you well know, the real Musashi was not the kind of person who sought fame, he mearly endured it because of his passion as a swordsman, artist, and writer. The main reason I did this was to give insight into Gattsu's troubled childhood. And that in truth evil only hinders perfection. I am happy that someone is noticing the bits of Japanese history I have been throwing in.
And I do like when people speak their mind about what is going on.)

Miyamoto's head slowly slipped off his shoulders. Gattsu seemed to be in a state of shock. His father's twin katanas still impaling the broken samurai.
His father's body fell in front of him, and almost immediatly lifted off the ground. The quickening fueling the body's ascent.
Gattsu raised his head to the heavens and his arms reaching to the stars as the quickening shot through his body, lifting him up above Nobunaga and the immortal guards. Large sparks and bolts of quickening pulsed through the whole of the "Soaring Hunter" Gattsu screamed in pain and sadness as memories of the past flowed though him, he relived his father's decent into madness at the hands of Nobunaga. He then felt his father's regret just before his death.
Gattsu fell to the ground in a heap, losing substantial amounts of blood from the blades buried in his torso, Gattsu passed out.

Nobunaga stepped over to Gattsu's unconcious form, "Impressive... Most Impressive."

Miyamoto caught Gattsu's overhead attack and parried it with both his blades in an X formation. Gattsu countered by kicking his father in the chest knocking Musashi back a few steps.
The two began slashing and parrying with such precision, the battle unfolding looked almost like a dance. But under that precision showed the ferocity of the battle.
Miyamoto front flipped over his son and slashed overhead with both blades. Gattsu leaned backwards and caught the attack with the Mirror blade.
"You cannot win this fight, boy!" Miyamoto mused. "It is impossible for you to match my form."
Gattsu broke away from the position and slashed quickly at his father's defenses. "You don't know me very well!" Gattsu yelled.
The immortal guards on the inside dropped into a bow as Emperor Nobunaga Oda entered the engine room.
Nobunaga smiled, he hadn't realized that his assassin was on his flagship.
There was a pause in the whirlwind of battle, father and son glaring into each other's eyes with pure hatred for each other.
"Ah, such a dramatic reunion!" Nobunaga said with a laugh.
Gattsu and his father turned their gaze to the Dark Avatar.
"Oh, what a glorious day this is! How have you been all these years Gattsu... Still out murdering unarmed warlords?" Nobunaga reminded.
Gattsu took a deep breath, the killing of Nobunaga was a dishonorable one, he was unarmed and Gattsu slayed him anyway. He had always regretted that... It was for the greater good, but Gattsu had always felt ashamed for not giving Nobunaga the chance to fight back.
"You murdered hundreds of thousands, and you were going to kill more! You were going to invade other counties. You had to be stopped... At any cost." Gattsu replied.
"Ah, true, true, and stopped me you did. But now look at me! Much more than I once was. I AM A GOD!!" Nobunaga stated.
"We'll see..." Gattsu replied.
"Ha Ha Ha, always the hopeful one, Gattsu you haven't changed." Nobunaga said.
Gattsu looked to his father, " You volentarily joined him? That thing! The Nobunaga I knew wasen't even this sadistic. The darkness has warped your minds!"
"We let the darkness in! Thats what you don't understand, this is our chance to carve a new existance out of blood and souls!" Miyamoto replied.
Gattsu paused, his anger and rage building up. He realized that Trilexx was in league with the Dark Avatars, he realized that his beloved Josephine was killed by agents of these dark beings... He would make them pay!! All of them would PAY!!!
"AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!" Gattsu screamed in anger, he attacked his father relentlessly, his sword moving at sound shattering speeds.
Miyamoto was shocked by his son's outburst. The attacks were coming in to fast for him to parry. He saw an opening in his son's ruthless flurry.
Gattsu stopped in his tracks... His father's dual katanas protruded from his chest. Miyamoto pushed the blades deeper, both shooting out of Gattsu's back.
"You can never defeat me!" Miyamoto sneered.
Gattsu looked deep into his father's eyes, Gattsu's rage fuled him, he pushed himself closer to his father, the katanas reaching their hilt at his chest. Miyamoto stood shocked. Staring into his son's now demonic gaze.
Gattsu made a quick slice of his sword across his father's throat.
Miyamoto stared into his eyes for a moment, tears began filling his eyes.
Gattsu stared into the eyes of his father adn uttered one last statement, "There can be only one!" Gattsu dropped to the floor and dropped the Mirror blade on the ground.

Gattsu stood looking into the face of his father. His father stood a shadow of his former self. His brightly glowing orange eyes, and ash cracked skin gave the once proud warrior a more demonic appearance.
The legendary swordsman- Miyamoto Musashi stood before his only son Gattsu. Gattsu had been careful to shroud his past in mystery over the centuries. Not even his ninja clan the Dauthi knew what family he had come from.
After his father's death Gattsu changed his last name from Musashi to Edo, after his favorite Japanese city.
It seemed now that Nobunaga Oda had seeked out Miyamoto's soul and corrupted it in the after-life.
"You don't seem glad to see me, boy!" Miyamoto sneered. Gattsu noticed him draw his dual katanas.
"Well, you have been dead for over 2,000 years..." Gattsu replied gripping his own blade.
"Death is only the beginning my boy, it is only the beginning!" the master said with a laugh.
"The masters' have planned all this out, all of this was supposed to happen. This war was inevitable, my son! The great war between good and evil! It has all been leading up to this point in time." Miyamoto said grinning.
Gattsu paused, "But, you were a good man... You were a samurai, you made an oath to protect the innocent, not murder them!" Gattsu said fighting with his emotions.
"They Avatars can be very persuasive my boy. Do you really think that this dimension, this galaxy is the only place that this war is happening in? This is the beginning of the Great War, the great intergalactic-interdimensional finale!! Nothing in existance is exempt from our wrath!!" Miyamoto explained.
Then Gattsu realized how right he was, when Dah'Kee sealed Gattsu's powers, it was not just him who he blocked out of the Netherrealm, he had sealed the whole realm off to outsiders... That bastard Tanari was anticipating this, he knew that this war was going to happen, and he cut all ties to any other plane of existance that he had in order to stay out of the war.
Gattsu immediatly thought of Karn, if the Netherworld was sealed off- what then would happen to Karn if his physical body were destroyed?
Gattsu looked to his father with pure anger and resentment, " You bent to their will... You are weak, father! A true warrior would never bow to the forced will of another, no matter how powerful. You are dishonored! You have dishonored the name Musashi, and you have dishonored the memory of mother!" Gattsu yelled stepping forward.
Miyamoto smiled, " Are you having another one of your tantrums, boy? You were never as good as me! No one is as good as me!!" Miyamoto's eyes glowed brightly with anger.
The immortal guards backed far across the room, away from the father and son.
Both swordsmen slowly got into the ready positions. A long tense moment of silence filled the room...
"This one's for mother..." Gattsu said. He leaped forward at his father, sword swinging with lightning speed...
Gattsu knew he was in over his head... He knew that his father was better than him, but this is a battle that he HAD to fight, win or lose...

Karn looked back to see Gattsu gone, he looked to Atomicus II. "Where did he go?" Karn felt Gattsu just disappear in his mind. "....That bastard!" Karn realized what had happened.
"That damn selfish bastard!!" Karn growled. His tail slammed into the ground, causing a deep crater.
What could he do? Karn knew Gattsu was going on his own because he didn't want anyone else to get hurt. But, Karn knew what lurked on that ship. Terrors from the past that should not be revisited...

Gattsu moved through the ventilation system of the "Soaring Hunter" for what seemed like hours. He finally reached what looked like one of the main necromite gravity well engines. There were several technicians all over the chamber. There were living tendrils that whipped wildly around the engine's core. Gattsu realized that the only way to shut it down would be to destroy the core.
Gattsu meditated, getting his soul ready for the challenge that lay ahead of him.
The samurai-ninja kicked open the ventilation shaft cover and flew into the chamber, slashing one of the technicians down the torso, followed by an abrupt cut toward the neck.
Two other technicians saw the ambush, but Gattsu silenced them with shirukens, after knocking them to the ground they were quickly beheaded.
Gattsu realized that none of these immortals' essence flowed to their killer as all immortals would.
"Unnatural abominations!" Gattsu cursed.
It seemed someone had witnessed Gattsu's attack on the two technicians and hit the alarm.
"Shit!" Gattsu cursed, he threw three shirukens into the technician who pulled the alarm.
Gattsu moved closer to the core, the tendrils seemed to anticipate him, the ten huge serpentlike tentacles whipped out at Gattsu. A quick slash to the right knocked one back as another came swooping in. Using his acrobatic abilities, Gattsu flung himself onto the top of the tentacle and began running up it closer to the core. Another tentacle came in, this time from the upper right.
Gattsu quickly jumped just close enough to it to grab on, flinging himself out toward the core, but not before slashing off the tip of the tentacle.
The core was a very small biologic mass, almost the size of a heart, but definatly nothing found in this plane of existance.
Two tentacles swung in from either side, Gattsu back flipped over the attack coming down just in time to slash right through both of them as they retreated.
The Mirror blade thrust into the organic mass, Gattsu felt the necromite energy shoot through his body, pain engulfed the warrior. He dropped to his knees as the shock ceased. Gattsu raised his head as he felt a familiar dark presance behind him, along with several immortals.
"I thought that was you, Gattsu!" The voice confessed. Gattsu stood up and turned around to face the voice.
"I know.... Father"

Aboard the "Soaring Hunter" nearing ECWA space

Gattsu materialized in a vent shaft inside Nobunaga's massive flagship. He used his ability instantly to mask his presance as an immortal. He could feel the presence of millions of immortals on the ship. " How is this possible? So many immortals. This will make it hard for Nobunaga to track me on his ship. I guess that tips the odds alittle in my favor." Gattsu quickly moved down the vent shaft. His skills as a ninja allowed him to move without making any noise at all.
Gattsu reached an opening in the ventilation duct, there was a vent cover on it but he could see three men sitting around a computer, it seemed that he had reached a place where he could print out schematics of the ship. But, these were immortals down there, he would have to work fast!

Gattsu quietly pulled open the vent cover, he quickly and quietly drew his Mirror kitana from it's sheath and jumped down onto his targets. One head hit the floor just as Gattsu touched down. The immortal next to him drew a pistol, Gattsu batted it out of his hand and beheaded him.
The other man went for his pistol but Gattsu's speed was too much for the immortal, the barrel of the laser pistol was cut off. The man now had a sword pointing towards his neck.
"Get me a print out of the blueprints to this rig!" Gattsu demanded.
The man didn't hesitate, he sat down at the computer and popped in a datapad, he typed a few key words and uploaded the datapad with the blueprints and schematics of the ship.
Gattsu grabbed the datapad, "Good... Now show me how to use this thing..."

*Atomicus II sits and begins to chant in order to help restore Gattsu's lost teleportation power.*

Gattsu looked at Atomicus II, " I feel something happening, like something forgotten is being remembered... It is working! I can almost see the destination point." Gattsu felt some of his powers being restored, although he was not nearly as powerful as when he came though the spatial distortion from the other dimension, he knew that he could at least slow Nobunaga down.
"Thank you Atomicus II, I have to ask you something... A favor" Gattsu asked.
He paused for a long moment, " If I fail to return, I need you to tell my men, the Dauthi that I wish them luck in their lives. Give Jean my thanks for everthing. And tell Josephine thank you for understanding." Gattsu took a deep breath. "And tell Karn, this is my time not his."
Karn was training away from Gattsu and Atomicus II. "Good luck, Atomicus II", and with that Gattsu disappeared in a flash of light.

"Soaring Hunter" unknown area of space

Nobunaga linked with the other Dark Avatar, " If we coordinate our efforts as intended, there will be no stopping us. My fleets are already in position around the galaxy. We can end it all now! The time has come indeed." Nobunaga grinned, his eyes began steaming with anticipation.

In ECWA space, near the core worlds

Gattsu sat in deep meditation, he could feel the presence of the dark ones, he could feel their fleet's appear as if out of the void itself.
"I have to do something, I can't fly any of their ships but if I could somehow reactivate my teleportation skills, I could get onto Nobunaga's ship and sabotage it somehow. Maybe even destroy it!" Gattsu strained deep in his meditation, the tanari Dah'Kee had locked many of his powers to save his own skin. But there had to be a way to recover just one power, the one that could get him onto that ship!

Aboard the "Soaring Hunter" unknown area of space
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nobunaga Oda stood on the massive ship's bridge, feeling the war's beginning, he could picture everyone, all over the galaxy, he could feel their pulse the life that flowed through them. He could feel his fleets moving ever closer to the ECWA's core worlds. The dark Avatar stood proud, he could feel evil's scourge quickly enveloping the galaxy like a plague.
His allies were amassing, another dark Avatar was concious. Both dark Avatars were in constant contact with one another, they had a special bond that tied them together even in death. All was going according to plan. Now it was time for Nobunaga to join the fray!
"Captain! Take us to the ECWA core worlds, we will meet Delta-1 and Delta-2 there. Send word to the other fleets to converge on their targets. No one will escape our wrath! We will wipe them all from this pathetic existance with one simultanious strike. HA HA HA!! CRY HAVOK AND LET US SET LOOSE THE DOGS OF WAR!!" Nobunaga commanded.
The captain nodded and he sent word to the other fleets strategically placed in many key systems of the OWCA, and many other systems of importance. Each fleet was about the size of Delta-1.
"VAE VICTUS!! SEND THEM ALL TO HELL MY LEGIONS!! LET NO MAN, WOMAN, CHILD, PLANT OR ANIMAL ESCAPE THE FURY OF NOBUNAGA!!!" Nobunaga's order was transmitted to every fleet under his command.
The great war was on in full swing!

Other side of ECWA space, Delta-2 fleet
---------------------------------------------------------

The mass of ships decloaked just inside ECWA territory. An armada of ships rivaling the size of Delta-1 began their trek into ECWA space, Nobunaga was on his was to putting the ECWA in check...

Gattsu used the crystal that was given to him, he needed to get a hold of LeChuck. "LeChuck, can you hear me? This is Gattsu, I need your help. You need to give my location to Grifter as soon as possible. I believe that he has crucial information. "
Karn looked to Gattsu, " Great, the Dauthi, just the people I've been dying to see, this is not going to be a happy reunion." Karn shook his head, the last time he and Grifter met, Karn tried to kill him. Ironically old enemies were becoming allies at this point in time, what a strange time in history they had reached...

Grifter and the Dauthi clan watched the shuttle explode from afar. Grifter looked at the device that the dying man threw to him before he perished.
"Find out why that guy gave that to us. Keep on course to ECWA core worlds." Grifter walked back into the hold, he sat down at the computer that had the millions of records of immortals that either exist and those that have died, detailed profiles that Nobunaga's commander Mortimer Frost had in his files. Nobunaga and his men had been watching their enemies closely for centuries. That must mean that he has spys within the ranks of the organizations in the galaxy. Anyone could be and agent of Nobunaga. That means that Nobunaga could know the ECWA and the OWCA's troop movements.
The odds seemed to be more and more against the good guys in this war...

Gattsu seemed in a rush, he had to contact Grifter as soon as possible. Gattsu looked to Atomicus II, " Is it possible to send a message to them? I need to contact them. My family still lives, I must let them know my location. They can help us immensley." Gattsu said.

Aboard the "Silencer"
--------------------------------

"That light from the shuttle, it seems to be old Naval code, like S.O.S or something." Raven said. "Someone is still alive on that ship."
Grifter stood up, " Well then we had better get them out of there then. Lets move."

Just as Raven activated the docking arm Atomicus' transmission was recieved.
"You guys get the survivors out of that shuttle, I will reply to this." Raven said. The others walked back to the docking hatch, the "Silencer" had used the docking arm to attatch to the shuttle and create a pressurized environment between the two ships.

Grifter opened the hatch and stepped over to the shuttle's hull. He knocked on the hatch, hopefully someone would open the other side, he would rather not have to blow the hatch open.

Raven sent a transmission back to Atomicus, "This is the Silencer. We were just in the sector where Emperor Nobunaga Oda's fleet Delta-1 just decimated a large ECWA blockade. The fleet is moving in to the core worlds, ETA possibly within 4 days if current progress continues." Raven sighed, " Delta-1 is made up of ships that have technology that I have never seen in my entire life, extremely tough hulls and regenerative capabilities. Also their firepower seems to be more supernatural in nature than technological." Raven sat and awaited a reply...

The "Silencer" shot out of hyperspace and quickly slowed down to sub-light speed.
"Open the comm system to all ECWA transmissions!" Grifter ordered.
Orca worked the communications system and patched into the millions of ECWA frequencies. "Grif, your on!" Orca replied.
Grifter paused for a moment, as if contemplating his speech. Yet, all that came out was, " Master Gattsu! Our coordinates are 039.112-4648, sector 12C. Your children have returned to you master! Please, reply!" Grifter stated. "Where are you, Master?" He added.

Two large Necromite blasts headed straight for the "Silencer", Raven used the ship's inertial dampners to thrust the ship into a quick barrel roll, the blasts barely missed their target.
"Zail prepare the ship for hyperspace, set a coarse for the ECWA core worlds!" Raven exlaimed.
Zail began calculating the jump, after the jump was calculated he diverted power from the frontal shielding to the rear shields. He also realized that they now had over 1,000 fighters on their tail.
"Get us the hell outta' here now, we can't dodge all of their attacks!" Zail yelled.
Raven angled the ship with the coordinates and pulled the lever, the ship jumped into hyperspace right as the blasts from a thousand fighters reached their position.

Grifter got out of the gunner's seat and helped Orca out of the other. They gave each other a kiss of relief and joined the others in the cockpit.
"God that was close, if it wasen't for that super flying Raven we all would have been toast." Grifter said.
"I second that" Zail said patting Raven on the shoulder, "Your a hardcore bitch, Raven." Zail complemented.
Raven just smiled and nodded, " Whats next on the agenda Grift?" She asked.
Grifter looked at the smear of stars on the viewscreen, " Once we get into the core worlds, we are going to send out another transmission... We are going to find Master Gattsu!!"

At the Delta-1 fleet location, seconds after the transmission of the warning from the "Silencer"

"Grifter, the fleet is going berserk! They heard our message, and they have located us, fighters are being scrambled!" Zail yelled checking the scanners.
"Shit! Raven get us the hell outta' here, use those badass piloting skills you have!" Grifter yelled.
Raven gripped the controls and yelled, "Brace yourselves!!" The ship lurched out of the way of a capital ship's necromite blast.
Zail's fingers danced across a control panel, "Shields up, fighters incoming! Grifter and Orca we are gonna' need you guys at the gun turrets... NOW!!" Zail urged.
Grifter and Orca hurried to the ship's gun turrets (Which are placed, and work very similarly to the Millennium Falcon's blaster turrets in Star Wars).
Raven plunged the ship straight through the advancing fighters, making it harder for them to get a target lock without hitting their allies' fighters around the "Silencer".
Grifter fired the double plasma cannon at the incoming fighters, noticing that unlike the fighters he had dealt with in the past, these fighters were able to take several shots of super heated plasma before even falling out of formation.
"This is turning out to be one hell of a day!" Grifter said to himself.
On the opposite side of the ship, Orca was blasting frantically. So far she saw only one fighter explode from the enhanced plasma turret's firepower.
Two fighter's swooped behind the "Silencer" and were able to land three well placed shots onto the back of the hull.
"Shields are getting beat up pretty bad back there! Those guys have some powerful cannons!! I'm targeting and deploying two drill bombs!!" Zail targeted the two ships with two of the Drill Bomb launchers.
The Drill Bombs launched out of the tubes at a high velocity, they embedded themselves in the tough hulls of the two fighters.
"Activating!!" The Drill bombs opened the spherical shell they were encased in and plunged through the fighter's hulls like butter, once inside they detonated destroying the ships from the inside.
"God I love those things!!" Zail cheered.

"The Silencer" cloaked, following the Delta-1 fleet

Grifter scanned the carnage of the ECWA blockcade' s wreckage.
"Any survivors?" Zail asked, a grim look on his face. Grifter looked up to his crew members. He shook his head.
"No life signs..." Grifter replied. Everyone was silent for a moment.
"I have never seen such disregard for life, such power. It was horrible, all those people." Orca said breaking the silence.
Raven followed the fleet closely, the "Silencer" was a ship built for stealth, not even the best sensors could detect the ship while it was cloaked.
"We have to stop them, somehow!" Zail stated.
" How look how many ships there are! I scanned over 5,000 ships, and that not including all those damn fighters we saw light up those poor ECWA bastards." Grifter replied.
The four ninjas sat in silence for a long moment. "Well we have to at least warn the ECWA, you saw what happened, the blockade didn't know that fleet was even there until it was too late. We have to send the coordinates of the fleet to the ECWA high command. It will give away our position but if it can give the ECWA time to mount a defense then it's worth it" Zail explained.
Grifter thought for a moment, " Ok send the coordinates to all ECWA frequencies, jam their damn transmissions so that our message gets through, then let them figure it out!" Grifter replied.
"Raven get ready to get us outta' here double quick, once we send that transmission that fleet is going to jump on us in a second!" Grifter said.
Raven nodded and got the engines ready for evasive manuevors.
Grifter paused for a moment, then he looked to Orca, "Send it, baby!"

The transmission was sent to all ECWA frequencies, for 1 minute Grifter's voice broke over every comm system, every ship, planet and radio in the ECWA territory with the coordinates of Nobunaga's massive fleet.

Gattsu heard the transmission over a loud speaker, he was with Karn and the others. He listened to the familiar voice over the comm. ".....Grifter? Grifter is alive!" Gattsu said with a suprised, yet relieved tone. Gattsu stood up.
A smile broke on Gattsu's face, the melancolly that he felt just before lifted when he realized that one of his children, one of the Dauthi clan still lived, how many others were still alive. The thought gave him great hope and seemed to re-energize his soul. He was ready, he was ready for Nobunaga!

Atomicus II: "Yes, Alicree was the first Chief Jovanite, before Atlas fell to the power of Gojirus Rex. He was a great warrior. I suppose your memories of us would be more vague since we held a difference shape in those times. We were more like dragons than lizards. So we probably were interdimensional travelers. I look forward to battling by your side."

Karn gave Atomicus a sly grin, " As do I... As do I", Karn looked to Gattsu who was deep in meditation, then to Jean and the ethereal Matt. Karn hoped that everything they had on their side would be enough...

ECWA Blockade, 30 mins after initial Delta-1 assault.

The fleet admiral regarded the smoldering wreckage of the ECWA blockade ships. None remained, no life signs could be found amungst the scattered remnants of vessels. Only moments after the last ship fell, the host of fighters and bombers returned to their carriers.
The captain of the "Gravebind" stepped forward with the casualties list, "Sir, the enemy is decimated, we lost 12 fighters and 18 bombers, none of the fleet sustained any damage. Our attack was a great success!" The captain said with a proud smile on his face.
The fleet admiral returned the smile, " Master Nobunaga will be very pleased, we will honor those who died for our cause for eternity. Now send word to Master Nobunaga of our victory. We will await his orders."

Aboard the "Soaring Hunter"; unknown area of space

Nobunaga Oda stod on the command deck of the massive ship. He smiled and gave a bow to the fleet commander, a sign of recognition for the Admiral and his fleet.
"You all have done me a great service, but the war is not over. I want you to move deeper into ECWA controlled space, annihilate all that you come across, destroy every planet and moon crosses your path regardless if it is inhabited or not! I want that entire system wiped from the face of the galaxy!" Nobunaga ordered clenching his fist.
"Yes, master it will be done." The fleet admiral replied.
Nobunaga grinned, " I will send fleet Delta-2 in a few days from the other side of ECWA territory. You should be fine until then." Nobunaga said.
"Of coarse, master. We have encountered little resistance thus far. These pitiful mortals have no idea what is headed their way!" The fleet admiral said proudly.
Nobunaga smiled, " You have your orders admiral, get it done." The fleet admiral bowed and broke communication.
Throughout the cooridoors of the command deck Nobunaga's evil laughter echoed...

Karn continued, " I do remember that Nobunaga had worked alot with interdimentional beings, that also may be why I was sent to the Netherrealm in death. My master Nobunaga most definatly worked with your ancient ancestors, as did I." Karn seemed to remember those days of the past fondly.

Karn turns his gaze to Atomicus II, " It is possible, many centuries ago I was Nobunaga Oda's right hand. Well, of course not many knew about me, I was Nobunaga's silent assassin. I was always watching his allies and enemies and when they no longer served a perpose to him, they never knew that I was there." Karn takes a deep breath.
" There was always something about my master that I found to be very disheartening. I could never understand what the feeling was. He was the one who taught me in the dark arts and the ways of the ancient ninja. When he was killed I searched Japan for his killers, Gattsu and his clan the Dauthi. I slaughtered most of his clan members in the name of revenge. My loyalty to my master was unparallelled; I would have followed him into hell."
Karn laughed.
"I tracked Gattsu to a forest near Mt. Fuji and challenged him. I lost. Gattsu killed me. I awoke in the tortured existance of the Netherrealm and over the centuries, through constant wars with demons and nameless creatures of the abyss I was thus transformed into what I am now. No longer man, oni." Karn explained.
"I do remember battling alongside those called Jovians when I was in service to the Demon prince Asmodeus. The Jovians are interdimensional travelers, or at least they once were. I remember one such general called Alicress. He was fearless, even the most powerful of demons respected his might." Karn went on. "It is very possible that I served with your ancestors or masters in those wars. I still have a great amount of respect for the Jovian race." Karn admitted.

Gattsu and Karn remain at Jean's side, although Gattsu takes the time to meditate whenever possible. Karn hasen't said hardly anything once he realized that his former master was alive and well. He seems to dread the thought of an encounter with Nobunaga, a side of Karn that no one has ever seen... Fear.

Nobunaga Oda stood on the command deck of the massive "Soaring Hunter". Listening to LeChuck's message, he began to laugh hystarically, "Ah, if you only knew Sea-King!! There is not but one avatar in this galaxy... HA HA HA they will know soon enough of my ascension to Avatar, oh this is only the beginning of their strife! They cannot stand against the might of two avatars. This is indeed my time for vengence!!" Nobunaga Oda stood laughing maniacally on the bridge of the monsterous "Soaring Hunter"...

ECWA Blockade, ECWA controlled space- Sector 306-B19

The Fleet Admiral of the "Gravebind" flagship turned to his first in command, "When all ships are in position give the order to fire at will." The captain nodded in acknowledgement.
A few moments passed, " Fleet in position, sir!" The captain reported.
The fleet admiral stared into the viewport an evil grin sprawled across his face, " Open a channel to the fleet, secured frequency." The fleet admiral ordered.
"Done, sir! The fleet is ready and are standing by!" The captain confirmed.
The fleet admiral scanned the mass of enemy ships with his eyes, "FIRE AT WILL!!"

All at once all of the ships in the blockade went to red alert, a mass of thousands of necromite plasma bursts filled space on a collision coarse with the targeted ECWA ships. The ships began evasive manuvers, but many were too late. Hundreds of ships were burned and melted to oblivion in a matter of seconds. Many ships either dodged the blasts unscathed or had massive hull breaches.

The fleet admiral looked at the massacre with a smile, "Send in all fighters and bombers, lets keep them on their toes!" with that order over 40,000 fighters and bombers quickly moved in attack formations toward the remaining ships of the blockade.
"VAE VICTUS!!" The fleet admiral yelled over the comms, there was a resounding cheer of the words from all the ships and fighters in the fleet. (Vae Victus in roman means "Woe to the conquered".)

The fighters reached the blockade of ships and began attacking the shields, engines, and weapons systems of the ships. The fighters were so coordinated in thier attacks, each fighter was in sync with the others, it was as if they had been practicing for a thousand years. If there were any immortals on board any of the blockade ships that still remained they would sense that ALL off the fighters, and ALL of the personell in the Delta-1 fleet were immortals as well!
The blockade was quickly being destroyed, with very few Delta-1 casualties. The ECWA were being invaded by a force much older, better equipped, and much more trained then they... Yet, the war was only beginning!

Mid-Territories ECWA controlled space.

The defensive blockade set up by the ECWA was ingenious positioning, any mortal fleet would not dare attack the blockade's without an enormous amount of support. But, fleet Delta-1 was no normal fleet. Because of their strange composition and propoltion, Nobunaga's advance assault fleet Delta-1 was not only hard to track and monitor, but they did not even show up on sensors until they were within firing range.
After years of waiting Nobunaga made sure to cover all bases, the ships hull's were super strong capable of taking extreme amounts of damage before breaching. Not only did the ships have armor and technology not seen in this galaxy, but the ship was also biological in nature as well. The ships' regenerative capabilities were astonishing! That is why the outer planets' orbital defences could not harm the fleet as they bombarded the planets' surfaces.

The "Gravebind" followed Nobunaga's orders by setting the fleet in attack formation, over 5,000 ships (Not including fighters) heading right towards the blockade. They wouldn't know that there was a fleet within range until it was too late!!

The fleet admiral watched his enormous fleet's onslaught on the outer worlds of the ECWA. On the viewscreen came Nobunaga's intimidating appearance.
"Fleet Admiral report, how goes the mission?" Nobunaga said smiling.
"Master, we have encountered little resistance in the outer territories, most planets are nothing but colonies. We have had no casualties thus far, and have destroyed 7 worlds. I estimate that once we enter the perimeter of their defence blackades we will encounter much more resistance. We will continue bombarding planets on the outer territories until we can draw their forces out." The fleet admiral explained.
Nobunaga's eyes glowed bright red, "You are trying to play this safe! You fool, our capabilities far overpower that of the ECWA! You will take the fleet to their defenses, like a game of chess; put your enemy on the retreat in order to gain the lead." Nobunaga paused, his emotionless glare made the Fleet Admiral wince. "We will be the ones putting them in check, and soon enough the grand end to the EWCA, the core worlds of their territories... CHECK MATE!!" Nobunaga said with confidence.

The fleet began moving toward the core worlds of the ECWA territory. The war was beginning...
