Karn looked to Jean, he was loyal the oni thought. After so many centuries of being stabbed in the back by so called allies, Karn could see loyalty when it crossed his path. A path that loyalty rarely crossed. After all his years, and all the people he had met in his long life, Karn only knew six people whom he could trust. One was dead, and one was the daughter of the man who stood at his side. Karn decided to rais that low number to seven.
The doors opened wide, gigantic doors leading to the skiff docking bay. As the skiff moved closer, Karn and Jean could feel the presence of an immortal. A powerful presence. A figure came into view.
Karn stared at the large imposing figure of his older brother standing... Waiting. The skiff docked and docking arms came forward and locked onto the skiff so that it's engines could be turned off. His brother, his target stood right in front of him.
"Gerin... He has gotten much more powerful since the last I saw him. I sence a certain animal-like quality to his being." Karn looked to Jean, " He is not as he was when I knew him. He seems more...ferocious. A new skill, or something...else." Karn looked back to his huge brother, the man's gaze had not left the skiff's command chamber.
"I have a feeling that this is going to be a bad day." Karn said looking back to Jean.

Gigas floating command structure
------------------------------------------
-------

Commander Riloff stepped close to the transport pad and stood at attention. The communications officer stood up from her post, "Sir, genetic transport is recieving the transmission from Fleet Admiral Keen."
Riloff nodded his acknowledgement and stared at the transport pad. Suddenly the pad lit up and in a matter of seconds molecules and DNA combined to make the form of a large humanoid in heavy Gigas armor. He wore the rank of 'Bezerker', which in the Gigas empire stood for third in command of everyone and everything that Gigas controlled.
"Welcome Lord Gerin to Landing assault command Beta 3" The Commander said proudly. He saluted with pride.
The 6'9'', hugely built, heavily armored older brother of Karn stepped off the genetic transport pad. His eyes glowed a faint blue as he probed the command deck. Gerin was now standing within two feet of the Commander who still stood at attention. The large warrior dwarfed the thin Gigas Commander.
"Karn..." Gerin said, his voice was deep and booming. It was such a suprise that Riloff almost fell backwards.
"My Lord, we have been monitoring your brother's progress ever since the invasion began. He is quite efficient. He was joined by another immortal who seemed to appear out of thin air a short time ago. This immortal seems equally efficient in battle as well." Riloff replied.
Gerin was silent.
"They have hijacked one of our battle skiffs and are flying it here, no doubt to destroy all communications with the fleet. We were going to fire on them..." Riloff stopped expecting Gerin to change the orders.
"Let them in" Gerin bellowed.
"Yes, sir. But, one question...Why? We can more than vaporize them and the skiff in a matter of seconds." Riloff asked, already knowing the answer to the question.
"He is my brother, and he has been looking for me. I will let him find me." The large warrior said, no emotion, not even a hint of excitement showed on his face.
Gerin walked toward the blast door, "Let them in, and tell your men to evacuate. If they can defeat me, then they deserve to destroy this Command center." Gerin exited the room without another word.
"Yes, my Lord..." Riloff responded.
And then the doors...OPENED!

Space Station Living Quarters

Josephine tossed in her sleep, she saw the image of Gattsu in her dreams, calling to her, warning her of the oncoming storm.
"You must see..." Gattsu bade. He took her hand and led her forward into a bright yet fading light.
Josephine found herself standing in the middle of the galaxy, seeing all the universe, trillions of galaxies as far as the eye could see.
"Its beautiful" She said under her breath.
Gattsu stood next to her and pointed to the Milky Way galaxy. Josephine looked, and was suddenly closer to the galaxy, close enough to see everything, all the planets, nebulas, and stars.
"Our home" She said. Gattsu's face looked grim.
Suddenly, a darkness swept over the galaxy, then explosions followed. All the planets one by one in the galaxy began exploding with white hot fire. What emerged was a black fleet of ships, crossing through and laying waste to everything that harbored life.
"Gigas!" Josephine gasped recognizing the ships as they traveled through the scorched space.
Gattsu looked to Josephine, "That is only the beginning." He brought her attention to the galaxy once again, the enormous Gigas fleet slowly moved OUTSIDE the galaxy and into the unknown. Soon other galaxies began to burn, to be destroyed.
"They must be stopped. You have the means..." Gattsu said looking deep into her eyes.
Josephine awoke covered in sweat. She threw her covers off her and stood up.
Josephine looked at herself in the mirror,"Then I will do everything in my power to stop them... All of them."

Karn looked across the skiff that the two immortals stod atop. The control room was three hundred or so yards away from the duo, there was no one guarding it but Karn had the distinct notion that not all the control room's defences was on the outside.
Karn pointed to the control room, "There! We can pilot this thing to the fortress, the I only hope that there is someone left alive in there that can get proper clearance to enter the damned thing. Lets just hope that they don't require some sort of passcode, if they do then we are going to have to ram the docking bay and hope that this hunk of steel can withstand the impact."
There was a sudden roar overhead, Karn looked to the sky to see five Gigas bombers dodging anti-aircraft fire as they went. They were heading northeast, which by Karn's calculations would lead them to one of the main Anti-orbit cannons.
"We must hurry, if those bombers get the exact location of the cannon in that region, then the capital ships in orbit will be able to enter the atmosphere, and that would make us a bunch of sitting ducks while they glass the surface!" Karn exclaimed. Kanr ran off headlong in the direction of the control room.

Karn points to what looks like large floating fortress, "There, all the Gigas transmissions to the fleet in orbit go through there. If we can somehow destroy that damned thing we can send the Gigas chain of command into mass confusion. You see without orders the guys on the surface will have no way of finding our bunkers and anti orbit cannons. They are trying to destroy this planet's defenses so that the fleet can move in closer."
Karn looked to Jean, "I'm sure if you and I put our heads together we can find a way in." A grin spread across Karn's face.

Out of the three choices that were given, I'd say that Patton is the best. If I remember correctly, his army was ment to get the German's attention as the main foeces of the american army, while the real main forces assaulted with much less resistance than they would have encountered. This is one reason why the allies produced false information, and a false landing site during D-Day. With the coordination of the underground resistance and the other allies, they were able to get Rhommel(I think I spelled it right) to divert the bulk of his forces to another site, away from the actual beaches that the allies landed on.

Karn leaped toward two soldiers readying a portable mortar launcher. He sliced through one at the chest, and the other simultaniously with a swipe of his tail.
"It's been a while Jean, many thought you to be dead. It is good to see your head still atop your shoulders." Karn grinned, "I spoke with your daughter a few weeks ago on Mars. She would be interested to know that you still live." Karn said just before blasting a molten hole through one soldier's torso.

Response to: Immortals RP Posted July 29th, 2005 in General

BTW, Here is Karn's up to date profile:

Name- Karn Hi'Tref
Height-6'4''
Weight- 537 lbs. (Attributed to the necro-alloy that makes up over half of his body).
Approximate Age- Unknown (Karn and Gattsu spent many years going to different dimensions and traveling through time, now that Gattsu is dead, Karn can no longer travel time or other dimensions).
Description- Karn is very menacing, with the lower half of his body completely constucted from necro-alloy, and a large extendable tail made from the same material, the tail has a razor sharp claw at the end. Karn's appearance instills fear in many enemies. In a battle with his brother Talon, Karn lost an eye and his left arm at the elbow. Because he has been forever sealed out of the Netherrealm he cannot return to fully heal such major wounds. He had his eye replaced with a technologically advanced sensor system that connects straight into the brain (looks like a robotic eye patch on the outside). His arm was replaced by an android arm that has been a part of the latest memory alloy testing, it can transform at Karn's mental suggestion into a plasma cannon. The cannon charges off of Karn's own immortal bodily energies making it an extremely deadly weapon indeed.

Backround
----------------
After the Great Avatar War, Karn and his newly aquired Dauthi ninja clan left Earth in search of Karn's brothers. He caught up with Talon, the toughest battle of Karn's life ensued where he lost both his right eye and his left arm. Karn emurged victorious. Now he has continued the hunt for his brothers by becoming an enemy of the Gigas empire he has found his brother Gerin who sits in third in command of the Gigas empire. He has waged a war against the Gigas empire and he won't stop until his brother is dead...Or Karn himself is dead.

A grin sprawled across Karn's scarred face. The oni leaped forward into the Lympass Lord's swing, throwing his scimitar into its path. After parrying the attack, Karn slashed quickly and efficiently at the abomination's defenses. He quickly switched between sword strikes and devistating tail attacks to effectivly knock the creature to the edge of the skiff.
"I'd say your time is about up." Karn said, his long white hair whipping in the wind, the skiff shook from small explosions, and Jean's onslaught.
"I will never be defeated as long as my master lives on!" The Lympass Lord replied with pride.
Karn smiled and impailed the creature upon his extended tail, "Well then, I guess we will have to fix that!" The creature looked into Karn's burning eyes as he died. The red, and purple energies of Zet that kept the creature animated slowly flowed out of his body, and slowly made its way to the stars above.
Karn tossed the body overboard and turned back to assist Jean with the soldiers.
