when ever there's an outline facing the viewer, I remove the line so it creates a clean soft edge... For the animation, I cheat by mixing in a ton of tweening mixed with a little bit of FBF with everything being drawn on a big ol' Wacom tablet. I just do a lot of symbols I guess... Head on one symbol, body on another, background objects on another. Thanks for asking!

I use the brush and draw a background with clouds...
