hmm... i see an error on the side of the parent . they should have avoided the game instead if they knew if it's offensive . he/she suffered emotionally from the particular event but that does'nt mean that they can tell people what to do . i find it dumb and selfish .

what would happen if people can always complain on something everytime they see something offensive like this topic , and porn , racism, etc?

we dont like the idea of of limitation on the internet . it's somehow being turned into a mainstream media . slowly , freedom of speech is being weakened . the internet is the only place where you can have that "freedom" which is not available in RL . yes freedom is a responsibility , it has good and bad sides . but this is the internet for god sake !

NG is a private website and it should make a stand for what it is . this incident in NG can root an opportunity for outside forces to gain control

if a content is offensive then NG already did it's part by having it rated accordingly . it's the viewers consent whether he/she will view it . NG is known for having these kind of content and people should already accepted that .

i may suggest that offensive content can be viewed only when logged in . that way who ever view such material is bound by NG

unless Tom want NG to become part of mainsteam media then uncensorship statement is useless .
