What celebrities/characters do you think shoud get there own TV show? Please say why they should. Rock on!

Oy, don't worry about it. Who cares what people think. If they like you, great. If they don't, find new people who like you. I understand you want to be popular here, most do. Just contribute to the site. Post a lot, vote a lot (and eventually be a higher level, which will get you respect), and start making flash or audio. Eventually, people will either like you for being friendly or hate you for cussing out everyone who doesn't agree with you. It's your choice.

Those would be two completely different franchises, champ.

Hey, it's still Baltimore.

We have/had the greatest QB of all time (Johnny Unitas)
Um, I'm pretty sure that team ditched your town to go play in Indy. I wonder why.

Because Irsay's an asshole (excuse the language) and thought he could make more money in Indy. Johnny U. was done playing before they left.

the greatest active Linebacker (Ray Lewis)
I'll concede that.

Thanks.

the greatest active Tight End (Todd Heap)
Antonio Gates.

Eh, it's debatable...

and the 5th top scorer of all time (Matt Stover).
I wonder why their kicker has so many points...oh wait, because they can't produce touchdowns.

We used to. We suck now, though. But we won today. But most kickers have a ton of points, since on almost every touchdown they get a point. Plus, Matt Stover owns. Sorry, doesn't really contribute, but it had to be said.

So yeah, Baltimore football owns.
Pffft.

What is that supposed to mean?

I don't know, I'm crazy worried. I'm constantly stuck in my head with my thoughts. And the thing is, they're not thoughts like other people's. When I think, my thoughts are in sentence form, and I'm reading them from the back of my head. Only, I can't hear me in my ears, just in my head. Also, you know that thing in TV shows where there's an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other? Well sometimes its like that, two me's debating. Sometimes one or both has an accent, but usually the mean one is me talking in a gruff voice and the nice one is me talking in a high-pitched voice. Like, all of the sudden, when I'm thinking, I'll think of something that makes me sad, like my semi-girlfriend (we're having troubles), and then, in the mean voice, my thoughts will say something like, "No one loves you," or, "She only talks to you because she's trying to be nice, she really hates you." Then the nice voice will say something. It might be like "Don't think that way," or it might be something like, "Have you ever known her to be nice to people she hates?" And then, sometimes scenes will play like I'm watching a movie. I'll be thinking of something I want to do later, or something that might happen that makes me mad (like a vision of my girlfriend kissing the guy she hangs out with all the time) and then I'll see it. If I'm in it, I can see me saying it. And then sometimes there's even a score, but that's probably because I'm a musician. I'm really nervous about this. So, to the point, do you guys think I'm insane or what?

I'll make a new post about it, this one's about you so sorry. But anyway, I would just try listening to music and trying not to think about things, you know. OK, I just need to clarify something. In the three-fates concept, by "people who deny the Lord," I didn't mean it as virtuous non-believers go to Hell. This concept actually origionated as a solution to my disgust at the fact that many people believe non-believers go to Hell. Those who study different faiths such as Hinduism according to this concept would go the reincarnation path unless they were not tolerant of Christianity, or any other religion for that matter. See, I believe that people should be tolerant of all religions. You can beleive what you beleive in completly, but if you tell people that they're wrong and that they're going to Hell or going to be reincarnated as an Untouchable (I'm not sure if it's capitolized), then you deserve what you preach. I should have been more clear, so I'm sorry.

Yes, but does Satan really suffer in Hell? He seems to enjoy ruling in Hell, corrupting people and whatnot. Wouldn't God simply send him to the "lake of fire" immediatly instead of letting him rule?

OK, well I didn't just make this up, it took a lot of work. And I do have faith, I just see the problems in the established church and fixed them in my own way. Do you believe that Martin Luther didn't really have faith? Oh, and no offense taken, it takes a lot to offend me.

I realize that polytheism goes against Christian teachings. In order to go to Heaven, however, you must have faith in God (the good God, once again the term "bad God" is used for lack of a better term, besides "Satan with as much power as God") and reconize him as your true savior, which is one of the main Protestant beliefs.

What made you decide this other than the fact that you were bored or some such idea? What made you see that there was one good god but many evil gods? I realize that one could argue that there is very little evidence for ANY god, but was all this revealed to you somehow? It just doesn't sound like a religion to me, it sounds like a guy mixing and matching elements of religion that don't really fit. How can you consider yourself Protestant and be polytheistic?

Well, I came about this due to many reasons. The Buddhism concept was inspired from while I was studying the Bible and noticed that a lot of the things Jesus' said are the same as Buddha's (I'm very sorry if I misspelled his name) teachings. The informal worship concept is simply my own reasoning, partially being an answer to the constant questions I got in church. Everyone kept asking why I wasn't dressed up, so eventually that answer came along. The concept of teh afterlife came from me wondering what happens to the Hindus and Buddhists in this world when they die. It seemed very cruel that they be sent to Hell for not believing. Their religion is the result of their parent's religion mainly, and why should they be punished for that? The testing concept came from my outrage at the explinations given by the story of Job's explination of the question, "Why do bad things happen to good people?" The good/evil God concept came from me asking the question to myself once, as I said earlier, "If Satan is a fallen angel, why doesn't God kill him? Why would God let Satan be that powerful?" and the question, "Why must babies be baptized, when their soul doesn't need cleansing yet?" The Apocalypse concept came from a debate I was having one day about the existance of good without evil. I was citing some information presented to me by a History Channel special on the Anti-Christ, when my friend told me that if evil is abolished, nothing would make good good. And I don't think that this is really polytheism. The term "God" is simply used for lack of a better term. I haven't studied polytheism in depth, but I think that in most polytheistic religions, there are multiple good gods. And if it is defined as polytheistic, the two can intertwine, just like Buddhism and Judisiam intertwined, with original teachings of Jesus, to form Christianity according to my beliefs.

Then why go to church?

You go to church simly because you want to learn from someone who has studied the Bible more than you have, or simply because you want to praise God in a group setting.

5. There is a single "Good God," who rules over the whole universe. On each world with life, there is a "Bad God," who is responsible for life on their world. That is why baptisms must occur, to rid people of the inherent evil of life.
Wait what? God rules universe, 2nd tier god rules planet? Wait. . Cluster fuck. .

Well they're not second tier, they're kind of like the Devil. The difference is the power. If the evil leader was simply a fallen angel, God could just kill him. But, I beleive that the evil power rests with an evil God, with the same power as the good God. However, there is only a single good God who can do his work on every planet, while there are many evil Gods, and these Gods each do their work on their own planet and nowhere else.

Hi, everyone. I've come up with my own religion sort of, and I'd like to hear what you all think. It's taken a lot of development, by I think I've finally got it down-pat. OK, it's basically Protestantism, but with a few changes. If you don't know the beliefs of Protestantism, here's a brief outline:

1. Jesus love everyone the same. He will hear everyone's prayers, not just the church leader's. Priests can't bless people, only the Lord can.
2. All religious texts and church services should be given in the local dialect, so everyone can understand. Everyone should have access to the Bible, so they can interpret it for themselves.
3. Heaven is reached through belief, not good deeds.

Anyway, here are my beliefs:

1. Jesus studied Budism. He studied it during the time between when he was 8 and 30. That is why no events taking place during this time are in the Bible.
2. All worship should be informal. God loves all, therefore all should be able to talk to him in a normal voice, and go to church in normal clothes. He will love you or hear you no less whether you're formal or not.
3. The afterlife consists of three fates. If one accepts the Lord as their savior, they will go to heaven. If they deny the Lord, they will go to Hell. If they have done neither, they will be reincarnated.
4. Bad happens in this world not becuase God lets it happen, but because he wants to test people's faith. It may seem very cruel, however it is not due to the terms of condition number 3.
5. There is a single "Good God," who rules over the whole universe. On each world with life, there is a "Bad God," who is responsible for life on their world. That is why baptisms must occur, to rid people of the inherent evil of life.
6. There will never be an Apocalypse. Good cannot exist without evil, so therefore evil can never be defeated. For if there is just good, it will become normal. Finally, if anything occurs other than good that is better than good, then good will become evil.

So, what do you all think?

Who says a religion has to have an established set of rules and regulations. I go to a Presbyterian church, which is Protestant, but you can vote for your leaders. The only rule for belief in the church it that you must believe that there is a God, that Jesus was his son, and that they love you. Besides that, you're willing to do decide what you need to do to go to a pleasent afterlife, Heaven or otherwise. I have come up with my own religion sort of. I'll make a new thread about it, because this isn't really the place to discuss it (if you want me to, tell me). Anyway, my point is that not all religions have to be restricting.
