i have to agree, they arent anything special but then thats the pount of grunge, if you dont like it someone will, smells like teen spirit was their most radical song, breaking the grunge mould slightly, hence its the one everyone likes.

in addition, his stuff is written to truly affect young peoples lives, so some of his stuff is exagerated, he's like marilyn manson or other stars like that, he wants to shock young people and change them.

He is my ultimate favourite author, and although all his work is based on real events, i wouldnt pay to much attention, he has had a seriously fucked up life, however godlike i consider him, taking to much of his stuff literally can screw up your life, he is a bit of a nutter, but dont get me wrong the best writer ever.
