Nah, my curiosity gets the best of me, and I watch them.

I shall never learn my lesson.

From your author's notes, I thought you had intended for that flash to spark opinions from your viewers.

Based on the content of your flash and the ambiguous author's notes, you shouldn't be surprised that people would give their opinion. When you decide to post powerful pictures like that, you should expect this outcome. As a creator, you should expect it and not get offended by it.

Besides, make it visually powerful and the best flash it can be, that way no matter the content, people might fairly pass it based on presentation.

Hmm... well, we had to do a May-day performance singing in the Maori language. And this guy from New Zealand was showing us this dance-sort of thing. He was pretty cool.

So yeah, New Zealand is cool as far as I know.

I guess age gaps for people over 18 are different because on some scale, you expect a certain maturity and you dont' feel like you're taking advantage of people?

Besides, in teenage years, one or two years can make a big difference in behavior and attitudes.

I believe that age plays a factor in whether someone can identify what they feel as "love" or whatnot. It also has a lot to do with timing. When someone is young, they may not be able to love a certain person because of experiences, age, blah blah blah. But later on in life, they are like "<3"!

But no one can tell you how you feel. If you feel that you're in love, then : ) be happy!!!

Response to: NG Slogan Posted February 15th, 2006 in NG News

When I first came to the site, the first thing that came to mind was "another flashplayer.com" with a darker edge. Then, I read your biography, the history of the site and saw the save/blam feature and I realized that it was more than just a collection of flashes. Flashes that would have never made it to flashplayer.com or albino black sheep, are on the site for the author to be proud of. And that's why I came back to the site and that's why I come back everyday. It is a site for everyone.

I guess "Problems of the future, today!" sounds rebelious because teenagers (and even adults) are constantly trying to break the mold, find a place that they can call their own; a place that farts in the face of how children or adults "should" act. I interpreted "problems" as "changes", things people are afraid of and label "problems" because they're afraid of change. This place has different ideas, changes.

When I first read the new slogan, it was powerful. I realized that the site WAS "Everything, by Everyone". But that's only me. I understand the idea behind a site that is so completely free for everyone to use.

I think maybe if it was a couple of years ago, I wouldn't like the new slogan either. As a teenager, I would've wanted a place that called me a "problem" or a "change". Something that made me stand out. Sometimes, I still do feel that way even now.

But, I'm a little older now and I personally like the new slogan overall because I don't feel that way anymore. It isn't that powerful, booming acid like the old one. When I look at it from my own perspective, the new slogan is what Newgrounds is, simply.

Yeah, I've become skeptical about stories like this that appear on the news. I'm not saying that either side is lying, because I don't know.

Kids do have the capacity to blow things out of proportion in their favor. Whether it was the teacher's fault or the kid's fault, the teacher will inevitably be the loser.

That being, said, I take no sides on this. Since I wasn't there to see it, I can only weigh both sides of the argument and come to no conclusion, ha ha.

This works in many differant situations...

I can see how the bedn card would seem funny. It's a guy who photoshopped himself into a pokemon card and uses photoshop attacks. Bedn can be assumed to be his name.

I don't discount the fact that people laugh to fit in or make you feel nice, but I think some actually found that one pretty amusing.
