I figured that the general compromise between sides included rape victims. Dunno if it's good for the child or the mother if she's mentally unstable.

If you are being attacked thats one thing, but hitting a guy or a girl isn't right.

This probably sums up what most people in the thread feel.

All you ever talk about is -Gooch- -Gooch- -Gooch-... what about me? What about the expensive dress I'm wearing?

Depends. Are they 10 interesting threads a minute?
If NG starts to generally allow these threads then yes, it is enevitable that we will be spamed with such threads.

But if it's all interesting threads then it isn't spam, right? That's all "what if" talk though.

Well, if you and everyone else who follows suit ends up having the thread become interesting, then yes, I would find it interesting. I can't predict if a thread will or will not be interesting.
If you seen a 10 threads a minute of this popping up. You would change your tune.

Do you really believe -Gooch- thought it was interesting?

Would you find it interesting if I posted those I knew who died? And then every other BBS member followed suit?

You're half correct. I didn't find it interesting that the guy's friend died. I felt sympathy, but it wasn't anything new. I did, however, find everyone's reaction interesting. Even if the first post wasn't, the thread certainly was. I found different perspectives on the issue and of the NG community. What started out as another "friend died thread" came out very interesting.

As far as if I believed -Gooch- thought it was interesting, I dunno. I can assume that he found it interesting since he posted in it. But that's still just an assumption.

Would it really be interesting to hear about a random dead guy? If I wanted to, would I be on NG BBS, or would I just watch the news?

It gets difficult on that part of the rules because the idea of "interesting" is very subjective.

America is not "absolutely wrong", but to say "America did absolutely nothing wrong" wouldn't be correct either. You can find something wrong in anything, if you look at it from a different perspective. And if you don't bother to look from a different perspective, you're no different from the people who only see America as "bad".

I'll brag ... how my country is superior to all others.

It's good to love your country. But not to the point of arrogance.
