Well, what speed is the guy going? Is it moving horizontally or vertically (up or down)? But anyway, here is the code:

onClipEvent(enterFrame){
if(hitTest(_root.wall)){
_x-=speed;
}
}

Place that code in the "guy" movie clip. Replace "speed" to whatever speed the guy is traveling. Also, put a "wall" instance in the wall movieclip.

Copy the picture, paste it into flash and press Ctrl + B. Or go to Modify->Bitmap->Trace Bitmap, set it to many corners and not smooth.

Maybe.. Change the divided by 2 in the end to times 2, if that doesn't help then just experiment with the + and - until you get what you want. Kewl :3

Import it to the stage, as a image, then just press Ctrl + B. Or if you want all the transparent or white around it away, go to Modify->Bitmap->Trace Bitmap. Then make it have many corners and not smooth..

You must animate it, here is the code for the button:

on(release){
_root.character.play();
}

Replace "character" with the movie clip's instance you have for the character (can be changed in properties). If it isn't the next frame that the character climbs, use gotoAndPlay(frame number); instead. Hope this helps.
