If you have saved it as a .gif file, see if running it through this does anything. It's supposed to convert one type of file into another, and I've never had a problem with the pictures it generates.

done and now another error went up:
transparent background aren't allowed here.

mm this is a photo..... nothing with transparent backgrounds...
