Doesn't sound corny to me, thats how I get my ideas. I will either make up a story or image in my head, and then ask myself what melody would best suit that scenerio. I have gotten some very very good ideas when just watching a cloud pass by, hwoever sadly enough I can never remember the melody long enough to even bring about a fraction of it, and don't know how to write music to get it down right away...

i'm so totally going to learn that this summer >_<

Though I could not agree with you more Padman, you have to consider several angles.

One, the recording hardware needed to make it as clear and useful as a VST would well exceed the tens of thousands (home studio pretty much).

Two, lets be brutally honest. If anybody is going to get a VST here, how many of you are going to "buy" it --_--"

Well after calculating how long the loop I was listening to was (Around 6 seconds, wow, small loop)

I waited 23 or so minutes, which is ample more then 67 times.

Nothing happened, as I had guessed.

But I do now have this intense disliking to that particular loop...

I can't believe i'm going to keep my browser on for an hour and a half to see if this is true.

Well I have an excellent Dulcimer and Panflute samples. Trying to find some good Tinflute and bagpipes.

I would like to hear how you think I should go about getting an orchestra, a harpist, guitarists, pan flutist, organ(s), and a friggen ocarina into one room without my mom wanting me dead.

I mean any audio file is like a jarble of frequencies, and many instruments/vocal overlap in frequency ranges, removing one frequency range, pertaining to vocals, would then also remove the instrument sounds that emit that same frequency.

At least thats what I think, i'm just curious as to see if that would work.

I wouldn't criticise if I thought it was a piano playing, this sounds exactly like the mp3 from the soundtrack, so yet, I am accusing him of theft.

Of course, I am always only too happy to be proven wrong, I am just quite sure this instance, that will not happen.

I really think, a panel of judges would be the best way to handle all these stolen tracks. I mean who's going to know if the track is stolen, an admin who spends all their time making flashes and programming, or the AUDIO USERS >:(?

We need either a panel of judges to look into these stolen tracks, or Newgrounds might as well just remove the X feature all together, because i'm not seeing any effect through them.

I didn't listen to the others but "To Zanarkand", is I am quite sure stolen.

I don't know whats more depressing, the fact that the guy would steal such a popular song, or the fact that everybody is giving the person kudo's for it.

now now people, the REAL test of faith begins when judging occurs. Every contest ran by everybody did well until judging began, after which judging peoples disappeared or suddenly became inactive for several weeks.

With so many songs, we're going to need a LOT of dedicated judges, and so we will have to see just how succesful we can be.
